Coach House Lodge is situated in the grounds of Coach House Cottage on the outskirts of Exmouth, two miles from the sea front. The lodge has three bedrooms, (one double and two twins) each with fitted wardrobes and cupboards, a shower room and separate WC.
There is a good sized dining/sitting room with a vaulted ceiling, a well fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave and gas oven. Outside is a small private decked area for al fresco eating and an area of lawn. Next door is a lovely, family run garden centre which boasts a superb cafe with a large varied menu of both sweet and savoury foods all of which is home cooked on the premises.
An added advantage being that food can be ordered in advance to be plated and brought back to the lodge.

The West Country / Devon region
The West Country is famous for its temperate climate, sandy beachs and open moorland. All of these are easily accesible from Coach House Lodge. The Cathedral City of Exeter is about 15 minutes drive away, Torbay (famously known as the "English Riviera," ) and the city of Plymouth, are both within an hour's drive. For keen shoppers, Exeter and Plymouth have brand new shopping centres.
In contrast, for those who love hiking and the open moor, the wild and natural beauty of Dartmoor is within half an hour's drive. Dartmoor offers enough space for the most hardened explorers, along with easily followed shorter walks clearly signposted for more leisurely strolls.
At the end of the trail, for some well deserved refreshment, there is always a welcoming pub offering a pint and some delicious local food.
Exmouth area
Exmouth is an attractive seaside town with a sandy beach approx 1.5 miles long, offering a variety of watersports including sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, canoeing etc. Lessons are available in all of these activities for the first timer.
There is also plenty of space along the beach to simply lie and soak up the sun or read a good book. Two of Devon's finest golf courses are within 10 minutes drive of the lodge. Woodbury Park is a par 72 Championship Parkland Course established by former F1 Champion Nigel Mansell. East Devon Golf Club is in total contrast, being a cliff top course offering stunning views over Lyme Bay.
The area also provides an excellent range of walking, from breathtaking cliff top paths winding their way along the ruggedly beautiful Jurassic Coast, to the heather-laden tracks that weave gently across Woodbury Common.
The Cathedral City of Exeter with its brand new shopping centre, numerous eateries and historic cobbled quay is a 15 minute drive away.
How to get there
From Junction 30 of the M5, take the A376 for Exmouth. After approximately 4 miles, on entering the village of Lympstone, you will see a set of traffic lights, just before the Saddlers Arms on the right. At these lights, turn immediately left up Wooton Lane.
At the top of Wooton Lane, you will come to a T junction. Turn right and immediately left, which brings you onto Higher Hulham Road. Coach House Cottage and Lodge will be found about 100 yards along on the right, just before Kings Garden Centre.
