Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Rowan Cottage is one of our two bedroom barn-conversions, converted from a cow barn in about 2000. The neighbouring cottage Mountain Ash is a mirror image of Rowan. Situated on Court Farm, Exford in the heart of Exmoor National Park, the cottages are ideal for walkers, horse riders, cyclists, dogs and their owners and anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the true English countryside. Heating, electricity and bed-linen are included in the price. Free Wifi is available.
Downstairs there is a large lounge with leather sofas, flat screen TV and a wood burner. The large kitchen/diner is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome downstairs only but a dog gate is provided to prevent them from going upstairs.
The back door is a stable-type door which opens into a fenced private garden laid mainly to lawn. There is a rotary washing line and garden chairs and table.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with two single beds and a shared bathroom with bath and shower facilities. The double bedroom has TV and tea-making facilities. Both bedrooms have their own wash basins. Note that all of our cottages are non-smoking.

Located in the Somerset village of Exford, Court Farm Holiday Cottages are positioned on a bridleway adjacent to the River Exe right in the heart of Exmoor National Park. Exford has two good pubs, a tearoom, village stores and a Post Office. COurt Farm is ideal for walkers, riders, cyclists, dogs and their owners and anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the true English countryside. "A lovely short break"
Rowan Cottage was clean and well equiped. The fenced garden was perfect for our large dog. The setting was stunning and everybody was very friendly. We hope to return one day as very good value for money.

While one always would like to equip cottages with the latest equipment, reality means that this has to be done over a period of time. We have replaced much of the equipment in the two years we have been here and none of it came from charity shops. We continue to replace items as we are able to. Other people who stayed much longer seem to think that the cottage offers good value for money.

"Great Accomodation,Friendly owners and superb location."
We received a warm welcome from David and Michelle into a well appointed cottage. The location is truly superb in the midst of Exmoors finest countryside, yet only a third of a mile from Exford and it's facilities.Lots to see and do plus the coast only a few miles away.
Altogether, a great way to holiday.

"Great location to see somerset"
Nice lodge that served as our base to discover Somerset and Minehead. Super nice host who is willing to do whatever is needed to make your stay pleasant. The lodge was furnished with basics for short term vacation. Only disappoinment is that there were no accessible animals on the farm that the kids could play with. Loved the place and would go again.
