This stylish property is nestled in the steep slopes overlooking the beautiful Exe Valley, accessed by its own private drive and sitting in grounds totalling 1 acre. Guests who choose this gem of a property will be close to one of the county's most photographed villages with its lovingly tended gardens and thatched cottages.

This area is renowned for its agricultural land and denoted by the rich, dark red soil. Bickleigh's five-arched bridge spans the River Exe and is reputedly the inspiration for Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge over Troubled Water". Bickleigh Mill is an historic 18th century working mill now developed into a popular and exciting rural shopping, eating and recreational destination. Railway enthusiasts will enjoy the Devon Railway Centre and Model World housed in the Victorian station buildings. The town of Tiverton is 4 miles away while a little further is the historic, cathedral city of Exeter. Even in peak summertime this part of Devon is sleepy and quiet, apart from the sounds of various birds.
