The cottage is part of a seven-acre Quinta currently used as a residence for the owners and their livestock and for Bed and Breakfast. The Quinta is located 4 km outside of Évora in the quiet rural area surrounded by other farms. Ideally located for many excursions in the Alentejo.

The Quinta offers two covered terraces, a lovely garden with many sunny seats and a pool for general use.

The cottage is decorated in the style of the Alentejo and consists of a living room with TV and DVD player, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a well equipped kitchen and a private terrace.

Main house consists a suite, two rooms with a shared bathroom and a room with a private bathroom (bath). All rooms lead to a drawing room. In the living room for guests is free WIFI, tea, coffee and cake availeble.

The Garden

The complete surface of the quinta is 7 hectares, a part of it is used for our animals and our vegetable garden. Approximately 1 hectare is cultivated for the ornamental garden. Next to the House, between the garden rooms there is the terrace with pool. The pool is 11m x 5.5m and at its deepest it is 1,6m.

The Alentejo region

The historic town of Evora is located in the Portuguese province of Alentejo, which is known for its excellent wines and good food. The Alentejo offers a varied landscape of agriculture and viticulture at is sometimes almost mountainous with some beautiful lakes. There are several rustic villages and remaining historical sites such as caves and menhirs.


Évora offers many attractions, both historical and contemporary. On the central square and the surrounding streets you will find a variety of restaurants and cafes. In the immediate vicinity of Évora is a beautiful lake, historic caves and menhirs.
