Thank you for your kind words. All who stay at the cabin fall in love with it and its stunning location.
We have no plans on changing the ambience the cabin offers with a modern Ikea twist from as this would ruin the overall feel of the cabin.
On changeover day , we thoroughly clean and check the inside for 3 to 4 hours, and are proud to offer the cabin this way.
We plan on adding an additional wardrobe in the second bedroom, although your booking stated 3 adults and 5 stayed, if we were aware,we could of accommodated this.
We have cows in the fields a few months of the year, a small heard of 20 young with their mothers, they can be curious if on the path, they are often grazing on the acres of meadow, but this is a rural property and can add to the fun. generally a hoot of the horn and they step aside.
Thanks again and hope to see you soon !

I booked Tafelberg for a surprise birthday weekend away for my husband. When we arrived we both instantly really liked the cabin and its location. The cabin itself was clean, warm and had everything you need for a relaxing break. The location is great, overlooking the river with a lovely well maintained gardened. The snow which fell while we were there made it even more picturesque. Each morning a pair of swans and ducks shared our toast! If the weather had been a little warmer we would have taken the kayak out! We explored the near by towns of worcester and strafford, both well worth a visit. Also we ate at the local pub which provides good pub meals at very reasonable prices. We would highly recommend Tafelberg to anybody. Carla and Ian were both very welcoming. My husband liked this cabin so much he wants to find a similar spot and build his own!

"The perfect retreat!"
I booked our stay at Tefelberg as a surprise long weekend away for my partner's birthday. Being busy people, we both needed a quiet retreat in which to recharge our batteries and Tafelberg turned out to be more than we could have ever wished for. Set in a picturesque, quiet riverside location, the cabin is well maintained and equipped with everything we needed for our stay (though we didn't get to try out the bikes and kayak provided!). The garden is beautiful and our border collie just loved the private access points straight into the river!
We loved sitting on the veranda first thing in the morning with our coffee, overlooking the garden and river, listening to all the birds singing away. And the riverside walks on our doorstep, coupled with the cosy nights in with the log fire lit, were a bonus!
Tafelberg is now our secret escape and we are already planning our return later in the year. Perfect, just perfect! Thank you.

"fantastic cabin beautiful location"
Tafelberg is really lovely. The cabin is extremely comfortable with every convienience you could need. Two good size bedrooms with comfy beds & lovely fresh linen with plenty of spare if needed. The main bathroom is huge & the shower room a good size too.A well fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, micro, washing machine & cooking facilities. The location is fantastic right on the river perfect for a bit of fishing or canoeing & surrounded by a very pretty garden & countryside. The way in is through a very smart caravan site & down a track which leads to the cabin, perfect if you want to get away from it all.We were met as arranged & taken in & shown around .Relaxing in the sunshine on the veranda was bliss & when the sun went down inside was lovely & cosy the central heating making it very warm.A big bonus for us was being dog friendly ... we took two.A lovely area with some very pretty villages.Highly recommended

"Idyllic location right next to the river Avon."
We loved the location of the lodge, peaceful, private and set in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed using the kayak to paddle up and down the river and having wireless internet for our teenage daughter was a big plus. The lodge was well equipped with everything you need and was clean and comfortable, we wouldn't hesitate to go back. If you want to de-stress and chill out this is the lodge for you. Thanks to Ian and Carla for making it a very enjoyable stay.
