About the home
This charming air-conditioned and centrally heated town house is ten minutes' drive from Marbella and Puerto Banus, and 45 minutes from both Malaga and Gibraltar airports. The beach is only two minutes’ traffic-free walk through the trees. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), guest cloakroom, living room, fully fitted kitchen and separate laundry room. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed, bedrooms two and three can be either double or twin, and bedroom four has a double bed . We can provide a cot and/or high chair (free) on request. The kitchen is fully fitted, with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, deep fryer etc.. The laundry room contains a washing machine and tumble-dryer.The house has full Sky Plus HD TV (43"), with movies, sports and children’s channels, Astra satellite TV with hundreds of channels in many languages, DVD, English books, toys and games, etc. There is a telephone for incoming calls and free local and national Spanish land line calls. The house is equipped with wireless ADSL. There is also a very nice (in tune) piano, which you are welcome to use. All linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided.

The kitchen is comprehensively equipped, with blender, smoothie maker, juicer, deep fryer and other machines. A high chair, cot and safety gate for the staircase are provided. There are usually a couple of inflatable beach beds around the house, which you're welcome to use.
We also have a 3 bedroom penthouse, sleeping 6, on the same complex, only 1 minute walk away from Casa Leon, giving the possibility of accommodating 15 people in all. You can view the penthouse on this website, Home number 9828.

. There are glass sliding doors from the living room leading to a large patio garden, with dining and sunbathing areas and a barbecue. On the second floor there is a beautiful roof terrace with sea and mountain views, shaded dining area and sun beds.. There are extensive communal gardens, with two large swimming pools and shower and toilet facilities.

We spend some time every year living in our Spanish properties, so they are real homes, fully equipped in every way, and not just rental units.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol has the sunniest climate in Europe, and is the number 1 holiday destination for British holidaymakers. There are many towns and villages to visit, and the beach facilities are second to none. Tarifa, Europe's top windsurfing location, is only half an hour's drive, and just beyond there you will find Bolonia, the site of a well-preserved Roman city. From Tarifa you can also take the fast ferry (30 minutes) to Tangier, if you would like to spend a day in Africa. Visas are not required for Brits. Behind the coast there are beautiful "White Villages" and spectacular mountain scenery. Estepona is a bustling town with good shopping , restaurants, bars etcetera, and Sun Beach is surrounded with golf courses. This stretch of the coast is known as the new Golden Mile, and has more 5-star hotels than Marbella. Between November and April, skiing is available in Sierra Nevada, less than 3 hours' drive away.
The Estepona / Sun Beach area
Casa Leon is 200 metres from the beach, and is a very child-friendly place. There are many restaurants within 5 minutes'walk. Selwo safari park is only 5 minutes' drive away, there are riding stables nearby, and the Mijas Aquapark and Tivoli World are both 40 minutes away. If you walk across the footbridge at the top of the road (2 minutes), you'll find the pueblo of La Cancelada. Wander the little streets of the pueblo and you'll find a bakery, two general stores, a butcher, a chemist, an ironmonger, a newsagent, an ice-cream parlour, tapas bars and so many fine restaurants, you could spend two weeks eating out at a different place every night..

Fly to either Malaga or Gibraltar airports. There are plenty of car hire companies and taxis at both airports. Malaga is easier, as there is no border to cross.

I want to tell you, that we all had a really wonderful holiday, and
that is partly because we lived in your wonderful house. We enjoyed
your very well equipped house, there was nothing missing at all.
We had a really nice holiday. The kitchen is GREAT! We didn't want to go home. Hervor.
Just wanted to let you know we had a great holiday. Weather was just right (not too hot). The town house suited us really well with the kids, and they loved the pool which we made a lot of use of.

The rental price includes everything; air-con and central heating, full Sky Tv (42") with movies, sports, kids etc, Astra satellite with hundreds of international channels WIFI internet, free Spanish land line phone calls, etc. etc. All towels including beach towels and a hairdryer are also provided. We ask for a deposit of 30% at the time of booking, and the balance 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. Normal check-in time is 2pm, and check-out 10am, but we'll try to be flexible if at all possible. There are no hidden extras; a cot and high chair can also be provided free of charge by request. We don't ask for a damage deposit; we've always trusted our clients, and no-one has ever let us down.
