The Costa del Sol region
Marbella's 'micro-climate' enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate all year round, with bright sunny days for the greater part of the year. The combination of mountainous peaks of the Sierra Blanca terrain together with the coastline ensures a very mild winter with an average maximum temperature of 22.8º C and a minimum of 13º C.
Summers are dry and hot and can reach temperatures that go well into the 30's. Fortunately due to low humidity, the heat is comfortable and not sticky or overbearing.
The main attractions not to be missed are Funny Beach, Fuengirola Zoo, Selwo Safari Park, Selwo Marina, Mijas and Torremolinos Aquaparks and Tivoli World Amusement Park. Gibraltar is 20 mins by car, Malaga 45 mins, Ronda 60 mins and Mijas 35 mins.
The Estepona / Los Granados Playa area
Situated along the Costa del Sol, Marbella is Spain's answer to St Tropez. This chic holiday resort is a favoured get-away among the rich and famous and it’s not hard to see why. There’s an endless supply of world-class restaurants, luxury hotels, spectacular golf courses, fashionable shops, lovely marina and a vast number of lively bars and clubs to keep you entertained till sunrise.
Marbella may be the most famous place on the Costa del Sol but there are numerous other areas that are well worth a visit! There is a wealth of things on offer in the surrounding region, each destination offering its own individual qualities. You can visit the ‘white village’ Mijas and wander the cobbled streets, dine in the mountains at Benahavis or go down to Gibraltar to see the rock and the monkeys that reside there.

Málaga Airport, 29004 Malaga, Spain
Follow the signs out of the airport for Malaga/Algerciras.
After the roundabout. Stay in the right hand lane with the San Miguel Factory to your right. The road forks to the right to connect down to the main road (don’t go over the bridge!).
You will pass IKEA on your left hand side, shortly after this you will need to take an exit ramp marked E-15/A-7 Benalmádena/Algeciras. (Shortly after the Mini garage you will see on your right.)
Stay on this road for about 10 minutes. You will then begin to see signs for E-15/A-7 and E-15/A-7P. This is where the road splits you can either take the coast road or the toll road (quicker). Either will take you to where you want to go so it doesn’t matter which one you take.
If you take the coast road E-15/A-7 continue on this road passing exits for Fuengirola, La Cala, Calahonda, Elviria and Marbella until you get to La Cañada Shopping Centre after about 40 minutes.
If you take the toll road after about 10 minutes you will get to the toll booth (the toll is about 5€). Continue on this road until it rejoins the coast road at La Cañada Shopping Centre.
Continue on this road. After about 5 minutes the road splits again. You need to stay in the right hand lane and follow the road into the tunnel to merge onto A-7/Autovía del Mediterráneo toward San Pedro de Alcantara/Estepona/Algeciras
Stay on this road through San Pedro direction Estepona. You will pass exits for Puerto Banus and Nueva Andalucia before you reach the road works which will take you around San Pedro.
After you rejoin the main road continue straight on, passing exits for Benahavis and Cancelada.
You will need to take the next after you see the signs for Selwo Safari Park. This exit is marked "Cambio de Sentido", follow the signs under the road to Marbella to rejoin the road going in the other direction. Once back on the main road take the first slip road exit towards the petrol station and then take the first right immediately before the petrol station.

We stayed one week, and was really enjoying it. It's a wonderful appartment, and the terraces with the neverending seaview are awesome. The pool on the roof-top terrace is great, and we also enjoyed the beach, and the beachbar close by. We would like to come back again.

tremendous view, very confortable. To be improved : too many ustensils missing in the kitchen or too old, one sunbed broken, tv programs for non british renters.
