The apartment is situated within the popular urbanisation El Faro, and takes its name from the port lighthouse close by. The apartment has a balcony directly overlooking the pool area with sea views. The apartment is fully airconditioned. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, en suite bathroom and second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. There is a lounge/dining area with sofas and dining table for 6 and satellite TV/DVD and CD Player. The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, full oven and grill. Beneath the apartment complex is a reserved space and secure parking.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and has marble floors throughout. The master bedroom is en suite and within the beautifully finished bathroom is a hand wash basin, bidet, toilet and bath with overhead shower. The second bathroom is also finished to a high standard with a hand wash basin, toilet and shower cubical. All linen and towels are included (except beach towels). A travel cot is available upon request (no linen provided for the travel cot). Electricity is included within the price quoted. The apartment has its own reserved secure underground parking space with lift access and stairs.

There is a shared communal pool which is cleaned daily. The pool is surrounded by attractive plants, tropical flowers and trees. Within the urbanisation is a lovely bakery and cafe which is open daily, selling fresh bread, pastries, tapas and ice cream.

A welcome pack is provided making the start of your holiday a little bit easier. This is included with the price quoted.
A mid rental clean can be arranged and this is payable locally at 12 euros per hour.
Conditions
A £100 deposit is required to secure a booking which is non refundable and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
The apartment will be available from 15:00 - 22:00 on the day of arrival. On your day of departure we would require you to vacate the apartment by 10:00. Where possible we will try and accommodate earlier or later times however these must be agreed prior to booking.
A security / key deposit of €200 (or £140) is payable upon arrival, and will be returned at the end of the letting period providing no material damage has been made to the apartment or fittings.
Discounts for long term bookings (3 or more weeks) are available, please contact the owner.
The Costa del Sol region
The marina of Estepona is one of the most sought after locations for holidaymakers when visiting Estepona, with an abundance of restaurants and bars. The apartment is just a stones throw from the marina. The town centre is a 10 minute stroll away from the apartment and is still unique in retaining its Spanish heritage with pretty plazas. In addition to this, Estepona has 2 main beaches, both with Blue Flag status. La Rada Beach is only 200metres from the apartment and is more than 1 km long. El Cristo Beach is a small bay approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment. Both beaches have Chiringuitos (beach bars and restaurants) and lifeguards in season.
The Estepona / Estepona Puerto/Marina area
The apartment is an ideal location for playing golf with the following courses in the vicinity - Estepona, Valderrama, La Duquesa, Sotogrande.
The Selwo Adventure Park is a great day out and only a 10 minute drive away. Gibraltar is 30 minutes drive away, where you can go on a tour of the rock and see the famous apes - or enjoy the tax free shopping!!! The sophisticated resorts of Puerto Banus & Marbella are a 15/20 minute drive away with its new harbour, great shops and ideal for people watching!! Ronda is an hours drive away with spectacular views - well worth a visit.
Selwo Marina is 50 minutes away at Benalmadena – The park is quite small however there are dolphin & sea lions shows.
Istán is approximately 45 minutes away. The village is beneath the Sierra Blanca at the head of the valley of the rio Verde. Istán's streets are extremely narrow. The only sensible way to experience it is on foot. There is a free public car park as you enter into Istán.
As you walk through the village you constantly hear the sound of water running from its drinking fountains. Istán stands close to the huge reservoir created by the Presa de la Concepción dam, which was built in 1972. The water feeding Istán's fountains, however, is pure, and of the unprocessed mountain variety which was much prized long before the coming of the dam.
There is a small hilly rise to the west of the village set in a park where you have good views of the village and spectacular views of the Sierra Blanca and lake.
Casares is a picture postcard village which is well worth a visit. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive there along a mountain road. As you turn a bend you have a spectacular view to your left of the village. There is a restaurant here, La Terraza where you can park your car and take one of the footpaths down into the village. If you miss this restaurant there are other bars a little further along where you can park.
Alhambra in Granada, is definitely worth a visit, if you have the time. It will take you a little over 2 hours to get there by car. It can be done in a day, however I would recommend you leave Estepona early morning. You need to leave yourselves at least 3 hours to walk around Alhambra. Please note you have to purchase tickets to enter, prior to going (via the internet) do not just turn up on the day. When we went we arranged to stay overnight in a hotel close to Alhambra and went into Alhambra early the following day.

This is our second visit to this fabulous apartment in 2 years. The apartment is immaculate and kitted out with everything you need. Over the years we have stayed in and around the Estepona area, however this apartment far outweighs others we have stayed in. In addition to the apartment being spotless and having everything, the owner (Carl) has in place good quality linen and towels which is something rarely found when you rent somewhere, plus a welcome pack for you. The location is superb and central to everywhere.
Another guest commented below, and it was the same with ourselves, in that the owner called us a couple of days before we left, to say "have a great holiday". Little touches like the ones mentioned make all the difference.
We love the area and will be going back to Carls apartment next year, plus we will be recommending it to our friends and family (providing they don't book the 2 weeks we want)!!!!

Fantastic 2 weeks, already booked to return next year. The apartment has everything you need and more. Kids (15 and 12) used the pool each morning and it was great to be able to keep an eye on them from the balcony. Set in a superb location with beaches, restaurants, bars and shops all within 5 minutes walk, or a longer evening stroll can be taken, (15 minutes), along the sea front to the old town. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I stayed here in Sept 2010 with our 2 teenage sons. The apartment is superb and exactly as described. The owner gave precise details on how to get there and a list of things to see and do, he really couldn't have been more helpful. The town is very pleasant and even the teenagers weren't bored. Nearby El Christo beach is wonderful and safe for all ages. Dining out can be a little expensive with a poor exchange rate but is still worth it, especially for the local fish dishes. We had a hire car and it enabled us to tour further afield but it really isn't neccessary for a memorable holiday. We thoroughly recommend this property and owner.

We have just returned from this apartment and would happily recommend it to anyone who would like a relaxing holiday . The location of the apartment is excellent. We have 2 children aged 9 & 7 and it was a comfortable walk into town and the marina area was even closer. The main beach is 2 minutes away but we preferred El Christo which was a 10 minute walk. The apartment was bigger than we expected with everything you nedd and more. We liked the small touches like decent hairdryers (not tiny wall mounted ones) and water milk bread etc already in the fridge on arrival. The owner even called us the day before we left to wish us a happy holiday

The apartment is equipped with all the essential applicances including Sky which kept our 3yr son happy.
Great location, very close to the Marina. A leisurely stroll along the promenade will take you to the old town. In both locations you'lll find a wide range of restaurants.
The pool is never busy and very refreshing.

Property was everything it said, could not be closer to amenities, 50 metres from Lighthouse, close to all restaurants and 2 good beaches accessible on foot.Would recommend it, it has all you need for a holiday in the sun.

A well-appointed apartment only a few minutes walk from the beach, the Marina and its many restaurants, the promenade, local shops and the centre of Estepona. The aprtment was clean, spacious, secure and the complex had a pool which was cleaned regularly. The owner has described the apartment precisely in his notes. We spent two weeks in the apartment and were delighted with our choice. I would recommend the apartment and this area of Estepnoa for anyone seeking a holiday with more of a Spanish flavour.
