This Colonial villa boasts Jacuzzi, optional heated pool ,large lawned tropical gardens, perfect for the kids and special occasions ,table tennis, pool table, badminton and a croquet lawn.

The main House comprises six bedrooms and sleeps 14, and has a wonderful 'family suite' with king size bed, single bed and connecting room with bunk beds and en suite !!!... whilst the separate studio suite sleeps 4 ( 1 x king, and a double sofa bed) ,The studio suite is available for an additional £350 per week.

The villa is located with in minutes of the brand new fantastic Valle Romano golf course , driving range and club house....with fantastic restaurants and bars...

The house is located in Estepona Hills and overlooks Valle Romano,...( valley of the Romans).

The layout of the house and gardens is perfect for small weddings and receptions (marques look fantastic in the gardens) !

During the evening, the pool area / dinning area is lit romantically...a truly beautiful site....

A car is recommended, and within 5 minutes you can be enjoying the numerous beaches of Estepona coastline, or be enjoying Estepona's town's delights. The closest supermarket is less than 5 minutes by car.

Ten minutes by car, and one can venture into the old town of Estepona and marvel at the glorious cobbled streets and orange square. There are gorgeous boutiques to satisfy the shoppers amongst us and endless bars ,restaurants and ice-cream parlours.

21 KM of coastline with clean pristine beaches is yours to enjoy, dotted with chronics ( beach bars), sun Loungers to top up that tan, exercises pit stops and children's mini play parks,...there is something here for everyone.

Estepona port,( a 5 minute drive)has numerous bars and restaurants to try.

Marbella and Porto banus are a mere 20 minutes by car, and the famous rock of Gibraltar,only 30 minutes by car...( Don't forget your passport ).

About this location

The Andalucia region

Estepona town is to the west of the Cost Del Sol at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains. Well known for it's 21 km of fantastic beaches, Estepona enjoys the Costa's all year round sun.

A fine array of restaurants and bars are to be found throughout the town and in the delightful port and harbour.

The town remains unspoilt and retains its historic charm and the people are oh so warm and friendly.

If you fancy travelling a little further afield for a days outing, Gibraltar makes for a great day out,...steeped in history and great for picking up all that Duty Free..

Ronda is simply beautiful, Fuengirola is bustling, Casares typifies the Spanish White village. Marbella and Puerto Banus for that designer shopping and celebrity spotting...only 20 / 30 mins by car.

There is so much to do in and around Estepona,..and so many places to visit. Golf is always a favourite and Estepona is proud to be situated perfectly amongst the 30 courses on the Costa Del sol.

Horse riding, Quad biking, dolphin watching, guided walks and private boat charters are only a few of the countless adventures to be had...and don't forget to catch a bull fight.

Every Sunday, Estepona port hosts its market.The shopping is great fun, and please don't forget to bargain..The Famous Spanish Fiesta are a feast for the senses, there are over 3,000 celebrated in Andalucia alone, so there always seems to be one going on ,and foreigners are always welcome to join in the celebrations. "Excellent house for an big family holiday"

I rented the house for a week in June and took various members of the family (plus a couple of friends) - 13 in all, to celebrate a landmark birthday. We had a great time and loved the house.
If you're expecting flashy Marbella, this is not it. It is, however very cosy and comfortable with a great entertaining area outside. For the golfers among you, the Valle Romano golf club is in fantastic condition and is probably one of the lesser known on the Costa - so is great value for money and relatively quiet at the moment.
If I have any criticism it would be that it was not really equipped for thirteen adults (my 24 year old son had to sleep in a bunk bed!), but for 10 to 12 adults and some children it would be ideal.
We had a great week and Tanya was more than helpful with any requests I made - I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a self contained family holiday.

"Great, luxury space for a big family holiday"

My wife and I travelled to Estepona with our children, my brother's children (all under 10) and my parents-in-law. Chantry was a great find and proved to suit us very well. On arrival the property was clean, well provisioned with all the necessary household items and came with a generous "welcome pack" which meant we didn't have to run off immediately to find breakfast for the kids (or a bottle for the grown-ups!). The pool was heated as we'd requested and well sheltered from the occasional December winds, making swimming very pleasant. The layout of the house allowed my in-laws to have some quite space to themselves when they needed it and also meant we could have late suppers without worrying about waking the children. The overall impression was of comfortable luxury in a place which quickly feels like home. You definitely need a car when staying at Chantry House, however its location just up the hill makes it very quiet, unlike other villas we've stayed in where the motorway is right on your back door; much more relaxing. Estepona is a pretty little town, not snooty like Marbella and not "3 star package holiday" like towns further up the coast. The beach kept the children entertained and the landlords were even able to arrange a babysitter for us for a very-rare night out. The landlord also provided us with an additional high-chair at short notice, as I'd forgotten to order one. All up this was a very successful holiday and Chantry was a large part of that success. Thanks very much, we'll definitely be back!

"Impressive house with wonderful views"

I arrived with the family for a last minute get away.
The house is spacious and impressive with extensive gardens...great for the kids.
Sunbathing was a pleasure as there is so much space, we found we were not on top of each other .
Jacuzzi was great fun , and a definite plus to the week.
It was nice to have the staff visit daily to attend our needs.
We hope to return next year, thanks Tania for always being available !!!!

Your husband wrote a review last month detailing the points you have raised this month for the same stay! Please may I ask you to read / re read my response. I trust this will address all ...for a second time.
The cleaning staff cater for all my properties, and the approximate 70 guests I welcome each week. They are professionals. My client's comments are important to me, and I shall pass yours to the staff. Excellence for my guests is my/our priority.
The pond at Chantry House has been allowed to dry out for security reasons,the palms allowed to grow. The house is not advertised with a pond.
The weddings held here at Chantry have all been very successful. My clients hold dear memories of their special day and stay. Your mention of weddings, I sadly find ungracious & disrespectful to my past guests.
I wish you the best in your future holiday homes. I am sorry Chantry House was not the right holiday choice for you. Hopefully you are now able to find closure.

I am so sorry you feel the wrong selection was made from the choice of 5 villas you mentioned you had for your summer holiday.
It is a pleasure to address your points.
The gardens at Chantry House are mature, the herbs allowed to grow .The gardens were visited daily at 7 am by the garden staff to insure they were watered and tidied for your stay. Sun loungers unfortunately had to be retrieved from the bottom of the pool and toys/personal items collected to stop clogging of the filters.Pool and Jacuzzi water levels tested and chlorinated.
Your past correspondence did not mention a pool light and I was not alerted to a faulty pool light by the staff.I would have been delighted to have addressed this point at fist mention.
I was aware insects were found during your stay.I apologise.This is the nature of a Villa in the campo in Spain.Suggested was insect spray, widely available in all supermarkets.
I am so sorry that you found the BBQ not to your satisfaction.This issue as you are aware , was addressed immediately.
I am saddened that you feel the layout was not suitable for you.Chantry House is a villa of the Colonial style,offering 2 family suits... all clearly mentioned on the web adds.We were in communication 4 months before your stay,and I am sorry you felt unaware of the house configuration.
Accounts from the staff stated there were members of your party that mentioned liking the house greatly. Chantry House is a villa worth in excess of £1.5 million, and I can only apologise that you feel it was not good enough for you.
It is unfortunate that some members of your party stripped the bottom bark off the 100 year tree here in the garden, the Jacuzzi paint picked off and left in piles for my cleaning staff, the coffee table broken, and a Roman plinth in the garden broken,...however,thank you for your review on Chanrty House.
