The Albayt Country Club provides restaurant, indoor heated swimming pool, beauty treatments, gym, sauna etc. There is also a golf range and putting green and children's playground. Nearby are beaches. A number of well-known golf courses are within 15 minutes of the apartment.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is known as Spain's "sunshine coast" and is located on the southern tip of the region of Andalucia. Estepona, known as the New Golden Mile lies east of Marbella and Puerto Banus, both of which offer great shopping, bars, restaurants and night life .
To the west lies Sotogrande, the heart of the Spanish polo scene, with its marina complex and the world famous Valderrama golf course. Further on is the British colony of Gibraltar, well worth a day's visit but remember to take your passport. Here you can drive up the Rock where the apes roam freely or take the cable car to the nature reserve.
Ronda, one of the oldest cities in Spain is well worth a visit and only an hours drive away. It has one of the oldest bull rings in Spain and is the most famous of the White towns. Further west is the ancient town of Jerzez, capital of the sherry country.
Children will enjoy the Selwo Adventure Park, a huge safari park with its own lodge, all terrain trucks and everything from lions to elephants.
Estepona / Costa Galera area
The apartment lies on the Costa del Sol, a 4km drive from the town of Estepona. Estepona is a busy market town with a long promenade overlooking a wide sandy beach. Lots of chiringitos (beach bars) and great play grounds/areas for the younger children. Water activities are available such as jet-skiing, fishing and dolphin watching. Estepona has the Plaza de las Flores, a pretty square lined with cafes and tapas bars and in the older town remnants of the castle. The Marina is full of restaurants and bars and holds a market every Sunday. Estepona supports a large fishing fleet with a fish auction every morning (6am!). It also has it's own bullring.
Five minutes away in the opposite direction is the Port of Duquesa, again with a wealth of restaurants, bars and the marina.
The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk away or you can walk to Cesares beach, although it may be easier to take the car for the 3 minute drive down the road and park in the car park. There you will find a wonderful beach bar.
On site is the Albayt Country Club, with it's in-house spa facilities and gym.
There are many golf courses along the coast with the nearest being Estepona Golf and Duquesa Golf, both of which welcome visitors.
How to get there
The nearest airports are Malaga and Gibraltar. Malaga is about 45 minutes drive along the A7 Toll road (you will need euros for the toll). Gibraltar is about 30 minutes once you have cleared the border. Alternatively you can fly to Jerez, which is about a 1 hour 30 minutes drive.
Car hire is recommended but taxis are available at the airport.
