About the home

Situated on the ever popular urbanization of costa galera located in Estepona on the New golden mile just west of Marbella situated between the charming old town of Estepona which also enjoys a lovely marina with a variety of restaurants.

The marina of Duquesa is also a short drive away. Marbella (great for shoping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus are only 20 minutes drive away by car or bus.

If you fancy duty free shopping, then why not visit Gibraltar which is a 30 minute drive way. The luxury resort of Sotogrande with pro championship golf courses, polo grounds and superb marina is also within a short drive.

The apartment is a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom ground floor garden apartment which is furnished to a very high standard. The apartment as secluded gardens to the front and rear which is perfect for families with young children. The master bedroom has a double bed whilst the second bedroom has two single beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped with top of the range appliances and has a vast inventory of domestic items and bed linen and towelling is supplied and extra sets are available for each room. The apartment has secure underground parking, Hot & Cold air conditioning & a high tech security alarm system. There is also 24 hour on-site security.

The apartment is managed by an English husband and wife residents living on the complex who will be on hand for any help and assistance making sure your stay is enjoyable.

The complex benefits from 8 communal swimming pools, 2 of which have large chiringuitas (pool bars) offering hot and cold food and array of beverages. There is also a children's playground area, a tennis court, golf driving range, a 3 hole practice course with a putting green, all set within beautiful tropical landscaped gardens.

The true jewel of the complex is it's complex known as the Albayt which features an indoor heated pool, thermal bath, sauna, Turkish baths and health spa features a tranquil relaxation chamber, a large lay-back Jacuzzi pool, aqua therapy showers, hydro-therapy to boasts a wide range of treatments including facials, massages and other relaxation treatments.

There is also a fully equipped gymnasium which offers a range of classes including yoga and aerobics. There is also an on-line email, and fax equipped reception with bar and reataurant (with large al-fresco terrace) which over looks the golf course and surrounding countryside.

For those with a more avid interest in Golf, there is the professional Estepona golf course situated 500 metres away. Golf clubs can be hired from the pro shop within the country club itself, and a range of green fees are listed at reception for numerous courses in the area including The new Volvo world matchplay course of Finca Cortesin which is only a 5 minute drive away.

For the night life Estepona & Duquesa Marina'a offer's a variety of Restaurants and bars. There are numerous night clubs and Puerto Banus is only 20 minutes away.

The Costa del Sol region

There are several attractions close by offering something for all the family, Selwo Safari Park in Estepona offers a great day out for all the family, as does the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are three aqua parks close by, One in Mijas Costa, one in Torremolinos, & the third one in Algeciras. In Benalmadana there is the famous Tivoli World, with rides and attractions including a ride in the cable car where you will experience fantastic views of the coastline & beyond. (AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED.)

Another great day out is a visit to Gibraltar (DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT) Where you can take a tour of THE ROCK and have close encounters with the monkeys. For the more adventurous you can take a day trip to Morocco on the fast ferry from Algeciras. There are many beautiful cities located nearby including Caseras, Ronda, Mijas, Seville and Grenada to name but a few.

There are fantastic mountain ranges surrounding the coast and the closest is known as Sierra Bermeja, & Sierra Blanca. Tarifa the wind surfing capital of Europe is also a short drive away with it's fantastic beaches and water sports.

For those who like the finer things in life you may want to visit Laguna Village, an exclusive beach club with a fusion of exceptional shops, and a variety of restaurants situated first line beach and surrounded by lagoons with waterfalls and tropical gardens. Laguna Village is approximately 5 minutes away and offers an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the amazing atmosphere whilst surrounded in luxury.

Costa Galera Country Club is a new private development located in Estepona on the New Golden Mile just west of Marbella situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only about 3km away from Marbella) great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (which is great for people watching) are only 20 minutes away by car.

The resorts of Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. The luxury resort of Sotogrande with pro championship golf courses, polo grounds and superb marina is also within a short drive away.

“As advertised. No hidden skeletons.” Helpful owner lived on site and provided excellent communication pre arrival. All rooms were clean, tidy and well presented. Facilities were as described and without issue. Site is out of town and a car is advised. We encountered only one problem with a faulty door handle which was quickly remedied and without any fuss.
