About the home

This beautiful garden apartment has been furnished and fitted out to a high standard. Situated in the Albayt Costa Galera Country Club & Spa Resort, just West of Marbella, the apartment is surrounded by lush beautifully maintained tropical gardens with several outdoor swimming pools. The apartment benefits from both sea and mountain views and is not overlooked.

The apartment has private terraces and gardens to both the front and back of the property so benefits from sun and shade alike all day. There is hot and cold air-conditioning and a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Separate living area. There are not any interior stairs which can be an important factor for both the very young and the less agile.

Each of the spacious bedrooms can be either double or twin accommodation and both benefit from triple wardrobes and dressing tables.

There is an alarm system on the property and the patios have been fitted with additional security gates. There is also secure underground parking and on-site security for the complex. Safety devices have been fitted to all the electrical sockets and hooks to all the doors to prevent injury to little fingers!

At the heart of the complex is the Albayt Country Club and Spa. This offers a range of services which include state of the art spa, Indoor swimming pools, paddle tennis, restaurant with terrace, full bar, library, reading room and fully equipped gym. Additionally there is access to Sky Sports and to the Internet.

The Costa del Sol region

Due to its climate, numerous beaches and golf courses the Costa Del Sol has become one of the world's most popular holiday destinations. The region offers a variety of things to do and see from the cosmopolitan towns with great night life (Marbella, Puerto Banus) to the more traditional Spanish villages in areas such as Mijas and Benahavis.

The region is popular to golfers and its diversity attracts both the young and more mature holidaymakers as well as couples and families alike.

The Estepona / Albayt Costa Galera Country Club area

The property is situated at km149.2, which lies between the old town of Estepona and Duquesa Port, both are approximately 5 minutes drive away. Marbella and Puerto Banus are approx. 15- 20 minutes by car and are great for shopping and nightlife.

Estepona, is a coastal town which still preserves the charm of a small fishing village and has all the typical facilities of a tourist town. It is set in the heart of the Costa del Sol and enjoys a privileged location, between the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. The seafront promenade runs the full length of the town, inviting visitors to take a walk along it. The coast of Estepona, of more that 20 kilometres length, is one of the most distinguished of the Costa del Sol.

Estepona enjoys warm weather the whole year, which makes it a perfect place to play outdoors sports: tennis, football, basketball, swimming, and much more.

We can not forget golf, one the most important sports of the Costa del Sol. Atalaya Golf and Country Club, Estepona Golf or La Serena Golf are some of the golf courses in Estepona. Selwo Safari Park deserves a special mention in the leisure offers of Estepona. It covers an area of 100 ha, where almost 2.000 species of animals live in almost complete freedom.

There are also many yachting ports. The most important and cosmopolitan port is Puerto Banús, whose night life is buzzing with alfresco bars, piano clubs and discos. During the day, Puerto Marina is the dream of shoppers while during the day this is a window shopper´s dream with several of the world renowned fashions houses featured here, in addition to small, interesting shops and boutiques.

Other places worthy of a visit are The Rock of Gibraltar, which is approximately 30 minutes away; Ronda, Seville and Granada to name but a few. Or you could take a day trip to Morocco from Algerciras.

On the complex there are 6 outdoor pools and a children's play area. There is also the exclusive Albayt Country Club which boasts an indoor pool, hydro-Spa and a fully equipped gym with dance studio for classes including yoga. It also has a golf driving range, 3-hole practice course, paddle tennis, bar and restaurant. The spa offers a range of treatments including sauna, steam, experience showers, hydraulic beds, jacuzzi as well as beauty treatment rooms offering a variety of treatments including massage, facials etc.

You can fly directly to Malaga, Gibraltar and Jerez airports. These airports are served by Ryanair, Easyjet, BA, Monarch, Globespan, BMIBaby, Flybe from a variety of UK, Irish and other European airports. Malaga airport is only a 50 minute drive from the apartment on excellent roads, the Autopista (AP7) and the N340 Coast road. Gibraltar Airport is a 30 minute drive.
