Your hosts Janet & Kevin live in a small studio apartment which is separate to the villa. The Villa,Pool and Gardens are for guests exclusive use. Janet & Kevin manage the villa themselves to a very high standard. They will meet and greet your party and ensure that you are settled in well. Apart from cleaning and checking the pool and routine garden maintenance you have maximum privacy and security. Should you require any assistance they will only be too pleased to help and guide you. For example in the past they have assisted families with health issues by organising a doctor and taking a guest to hospital. Even simple things like locking oneself out which can cause great worry especially if a remote agent/owner is managing the villa.

We have stayed at Villa Paraiso twice as it is fantastic. The facilities are brilliant and provide a safe, secure, relaxing and homely environment whilst you are on holiday. With its heated pool and lockable gate for safety, selection of out-door areas, four double bedrooms (one of which has a Emperor bed) and a further bedroom with two single beds you are spoilt for choice. Sky plus TV kept our three year old amused when she wasn't running around the garden or swimming in the pool. Parking is off road through an electric gate so as vehicles are secure. Locally you are spoilt for choice for things to do. We enjoyed trips to the beach, visiting the mountains, shopping in Estapona, Malaga etc... Janet and Kevin provided a welcome pack on our first visit as we were arriving late at night. They are very friendly, helpful and it's great to know they are near if you should need any information or assistance. We have already booked for next year and can't wait! Overall a great place that suits all tastes.

“Fantastic Villa & Wonderful Location”
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Villa Paraiso in March 2013. The space and facilities available were perfect for our family holiday. Janet & Kevin were more than helpful in ensuring... more
Home from home. This property was immaculate, including the rooms, bathrooms and pool area. The villa was large and spacious with plenty of space for everyone to get together but also enough to escape one another! The owners couldn't do more to help and accommodate us, including information about surrounding towns/ villages to visit, the best restaurants and even where to catch the bus. we even managed blissful sunshine for the majority of the days we were there. Will definitely return with the family for a summer vacation, pool for the kids, golf for the boys, and plenty of nice bars a 5 minute walk away for the ladies.

“Lovely villa - shame about the owners!!”

Response: It was with interest that I read the review from this client.
It is equally interesting that it has taken seven months for this party to respond.
We have just spent 4 wonderful weeks in this Villa. The owners Janet and Kevin are located nearby and whilst there to help are never in any way intrusive. Having stayed in many villas at... more
Everything about this villa exceeded expectations. There's loads of space inside for 6 adults and 2 children to be together and still have personal space. There is a luxury feel about the villa, inside and out: every aspect is of an ample and quality nature. There is more kitchen equipment than you can shake a stick at and the American style fridge-freezer with ice and cold water dispenser is a real hit. The pool isn't overlooked, and if like us, you have never used a salt water pool before, don't let that put you off –it's not like going in the sea! We were instantly converted. This is the standard by which all pools shall be judged in future! Roman-style 'walk-in' pool steps enabled elderly grandparents easy use of the pool too. Janet and Kevin live unobtrusively on site, which we found to be reassuring and advantageous: they are a lovely couple, very helpful, and totally respectful of boundaries. It is perfectly possible to stay here without a car. Although you can walk down to the local beach, it's gravelly and has a neglected feel, but perfect to stretch your legs and get some sea breeze. There's no shortage of Indian, Chinese, Japanese, or Italian restaurants you can reach on foot and even a fish and chip restaurant. We can recommend Bar Cherito for simple, well cooked food with some child-friendly options (on the right-hand corner as you reach the main road). They do lovely breakfasts too. Peggarty's (fish & chips) is pricy and the portions are gargantuan, but wow, prepare for the fish and chips of your life. The 2 big supermarkets are 15-20min walk; both seemed expensive, but what can you do? Beware that SuperSol advertises free delivery if you spend more than 60 euro, but in practice, this is only if they feel like it, as we discovered after buying far too much shopping to be able to carry back. It was 10euro back to the villa by taxi. The villa has a gas-fired BBQ and oodles of patio space for 8 to dine al fresco. Unlike other villas that 'sleep 8', the dining table really CAN comfortably accommodate 8 people at the same time. (Btw Mercadona supermarket has a fab fish counter). There is a good bus service up and down the coast. The nearest bus stop is down the road from the villa, turn right at Bar Cherito, and walk to the first blue footbridge. The stops are near the footbridge steps and are every half hour. It cost us 13 euro for 8 of us to Estepona (one way). Estepona has a fabulous beach; it's spacious and the sand was clean and beautifully tended. It feels slightly more cosmopolitan here: less crammed with tourist tat shops than some other Costa resorts. In Estepona, we had paella at 'La Gambas', with beautiful panoramic views (with your back to the sea, look right, it is the white building at the furthest end of the bay, just before the red buildings). It is possible to transfer from Malaga Airport by train and bus. I did try to find out all the timetables via the web and work out connections beforehand, but it just gave me a headache. Having been, I would be less stressed about doing it now (providing the flight times are daytime), but that said, in the end we booked airport transfers and I'm so glad we did. We were collected and delivered door to door in a 16-seater mini bus which was much more comfortable and cheaper than 2 taxis and a hassle-free way to start/end the holiday. On our last day we walked to Cherito's with our luggage, cried at having to go home (actually that was just me – the men 'had something in their eye'), had a leisurely breakfast, and were collected from there. Fabulous. Having stayed in many villas now, I can honestly say that Villa Paraiso is a real gem. 'Thank you Janet and Kevin for sharing your lovely home. We had an absolutely delightful family holiday and made lots of great memories'.

I have just returned from my second stay at Villa Paraiso. It is a lovely, spacious villa, wonderfully equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. My favourite place is th eoutdoor terrace with the comfy chairs where you can relax at any time of the day, but especially in the evenings watching the sun go down enjoying a large glass of Rioja. I was there to play golf and there are so many great golf courses nearby that you are spoilt for choice. Ronda and other mountain villages are an easy drive away. Janet and Kevin, the villa owners, ensure that the villa is ready and spotlessly clean for your arrival. They are always happy to advise and assist in whatever way they can. You are made to feel very welcome.

“Excellent accommodation, with numerous facilities, and very helpful and friendly owners.”
This was the second time we have stayed at this villa and would definitely return. The accommodation included lots of items required for small children and Janet and Kevin were only too happy to provide additional items where possible - i.e one of the children only just sleeping in a bed and they managed to get us our required side guards for bed. We found some excellent restaurants nearby where we could take the children. Janet and Kevin made us so welcome and were always available should be need any information etc. They also provided us with details of an excellent airport transfer person. The whole family found the villa holiday one of our best holidays.

“Superb Villa with excellent facilities and friendly service”
The villa accommodation is first class, very spacious with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday, especially the pool which is fantastic. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival and were shown the villa facilities and accommodation. The villa is located within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops with several beaches close by. There are places of interest to visit which give a real taste of Spain (don't forget your camera).
We visited Villa Paraiso with a 3 month old, a two year old and three adults. We were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend it highly enough.

“Fantastic Family friendly villa”
This was our third stay at the villa and it was as perfect as ever. The villa and grounds are gorgeous and it is well equipped with all the essentials for travelling with young children. The pool is gated and it was reassuring to know that your children could not just wander there unsupervised. The villa is a couple of minutes walk from a selection of good restaurants and bars, including a bar with an enclosed kids playground! The villa itself is gated and quite private. The owners Janet and Kevin were excellant hosts and we're looking forward to going back again in 2012.
