This beautiful and spacious 3 bedroomed first floor apartment sleeps 6 and offers 2 bathrooms, lounge and a fully fitted kitchen. There is a large south facing terrace with a table and seating for 6.
The Dos Hermanas urbanisation is much sought after and built in a typical Spanish village style. There are stunning landscaped gardens and a very large community pool. The apartment is ideal for families looking for a peaceful and relaxing break but is close to all amenities.
The complex is beach side with the apartment just a few minutes stroll to the beach. There is a wide selection of international restaurants within easy walking distance. There are shops and supermarkets within a few minutes walk. For Golfers there are eight courses within a 15 minute drive of the apartment. The closest being Atalaya, Marbella Club and El Paraiso.
The apartment is situated on the new Golden Mile between Marbella and Estepona close to the town of San Pedro. The urbanisation is next to the luxury Crowne Plaza, Estepona hotel which offers the usual facilities for non residents.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa Del Sol region of Spain offers approximately 300 days of sunshine per year and a very mild winter climate making it an ideal year round destination. Malaga is the capital of the province and the old part of the town is well worth a visit.
Estepona is a typical Spanish town and offers a beautiful tree lined prominade and excellent harbour which hosts a market every Sunday morning. There are many tapas bars in the town and some excellent restaurants along the sea front.
Marbella is often overlooked by visitors yet the old town around Orange square is a fantastic place to enjoy a drink and tapas. The cosmopolitan Puerto Banus is only 10 minutes away by car and is a must for those who enjoy people watching or catching up on the latest styles in the designer shops.
For those wishing to explore further afield Gibraltar is only 35 minutes from the apartment and offers some excellent duty free shopping. Ronda is approximately 45 minutes away in the mountains and is a beautiful and scenic Spanish town. Seville is approximately 2 hours drive.
Golf is a major pastime on the Costa Del Sol and the mild climate makes it ideal to play all year round. There are around 70 Golf Courses to choose from.
In the winter months the ski resort of Sierra Nevada offers an excellent contrast to the sunshine of the coast and is only 2 hours drive from Estepona.
The Estepona / Benamara area
There are several safe, sandy beaches along the coastline close to Benamara. Heaven beach and Guadalpin beaches are great for kids and offer entertainment and watersports. For the more lively, Plaza beach at Puerto Banus has a dance floor and music daily in the summer months. San Pedro and Estepona towns and beaches are ideal for families looking for traditional Spanish surroundings and a peaceful and relaxing escape.
There is an endless choice of restaurants offering various international cuisine within easy walking distance of the apartment. Benhavis village is only a 15 minute drive and offers an excellent choice of Spanish cuisine in a mountain village setting.
Selwo adventure Park is only a 5 minute drive away and the water park at Fuengirola is within 30 minutes of Benamara.
The closest golf courses can be found at Atalaya Park, El Paraiso and Club Marbella which are all within a few minutes drive of the apartment.
For the bargain hunters Estepona harbour hosts a market every Sunday morning and Puerto Banus on a Saturday morning (next to the Bull ring).

The apartment is approximately 38 miles and easily accessible from both Malaga and Gibraltar airports (40 minute drive). Flights are available with: Monarch, Easyjet, Ryannair, bmibaby, Thomson, Jet2 or BA.
There are a number of car hire companies at Malaga airport. We recommend www.malagacar.com which provide a personal delivery and pick up service from the airport (saving queuing time at the car hire desks) and are reasonably priced and reliable.
Taxis are situated just outside arrivals and have a set cost system.
There is also a regular bus service from the airport terminal to Marbella.

We spent 5 days here and although it rained for the first 2 days, the apartment was brilliant so we just sat backed and watched it rain so relaxing and peacefull. Their was plenty of choice of bars, restaurants and takeaways. The outdoor space on the complex is amazing plenty of space for everyone. Will be returning next year when the weather should be better. The apartment was everything we hoped it would be, comfortable, st.ylish and with plenty of room for a 9 year old and a 13 year old. The facilities were great especially the large bedrooms, enough bathrooms to keep everyone happy and sky sports to keep the football fans amongst us up to speed. The balcony was large and well furnished, we spent alot of time out there and it felt like you were sat within a traditional Spanish village thanks to the sympathetic build of the complex. The pool area was fantastic and there were always sun loungers available despite us visiting in peak season. The owners recommendations for restaurants and places to visit were spot on and we especially loved Ronda, Marbella Old Town and Gibraltor. A superb holiday. |

Our stay at The Benamara apartment was GREAT, it was bright, modern, roomey & very comfortable, with all the amenities you need in an apartment The sun terrace was large, for those lazy days when you just wanted to sunbathe and not go far, it was ideal to do so with sun loungers and table & chairs. The complex is surrounded with beautiful flowers it was very pretty and well looked after. The pool area was excellent, only a few minutes walk from our apartment. The surroundings were peaceful with a large clean pool. The pool was ideal for children of any age and adults wanting a quiet relaxing pool area. There was local super markets within easy walking distance from the apartment with bars and restaurants near by. For people that did not want to hire a car, the bus stop was also walking distance from the apartment to San Pedro, Puerto Bauus & Marbella. The beaches at these three resorts were beautiful. Estapona is also worth visiting, a very spanish town with lovely restaurants, just a short bus ride away. It is also worth visiting Heaven Beach, just a short taxi ride away. Our stay at the Benamara apartment was very memorable and we would not hesitate staying there again for a lovely holiday. We would highly recommend it. "The apartment is in an excellent location, with many and varied restaurants within walking distance. The pool area and surrounding gardens are idyllic. Although close to all these amenities, the apartment is peaceful, with the sun on the balcony all day. The location is also ideal for visiting Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibraltar, etc. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely return to this area and to this apartment again. It's central for all of the best places on the Costa and the local facilities are just excellent, my children virtually lived in the pool and we could take a slow walk up to the nearby pub and restaurants to enjoy the warm evening over a glass of wine and good meal. The apartment is roomy and clean and even with a family of 5, allows each other space and the ability to not get on top of each other.
