Set in luxuriant tropical gardens with a large swimming pool, this air-conditioned apartment has a large terrace on which to read, dine, enjoy a glass or two of wine, or just idle the day away, and is furnished to an extremely high standard, including bathrooms finished in marble throughout, flat screen TV and Wifi. There is a large swimming pool sited in mature tropical gardens, and you also have the choice of the privacy of the apartment's own garden.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, with a folding bed suitable for children up to 14 years of age.
The apartment is within easy walking distance of Los Flamingos Golf Club as well as the Bel Air Tennis Club. A 10 minute walk also brings you to the small village of Cancelada with it's selection of tapas bars and restaurants, most very traditionally Spanish in feel. The whole coastal area is great for golf, outdoor activities and just relaxing on the beaches.
There is a bank and supermarket a few minutes walk away, with a large fresh fish counter for the adventurous chef. About 10 minutes drive away is the wealthy jetsetter's playground of Puerto Banus, and Gibraltar, Seville and Granada are all within driving distance.

Fully air-conditioned throughout the apartment, the double bedroom has en suite facilities, including a sunken bath and large separate shower cubicle, 2 basins and a dressing area. It opens onto the terrace, which enjoys the morning sun. The twin bedroom has a luxurious adjoining shower room, with a marble tiled shower big enough for two!
There is a spacious fully fitted kitchen and utility area with washing machine and tumble drier, with a breakfast bar area opening onto a large living/dining room. There is a large terrace outside, leading onto a private grassed area with access to the pool, which is surrounded by further lawns and lush exotic gardens. You can pick your own lemons and limes depending on the time of year! The property includes a TV, DVD/CD player, satellite TV box, free wifi internet access, microwave and large fridge-freezer.

The whole complex is gated and secure, with an intercom system for visitors at the main gate, allowing you to relax in the knowledge that your children can explore and play in safety. The garden is screened by a hedge and lemon and lime trees with easy access to the main gardens and swimming pool. A small barbeque is provided for the use of guests, plus sun loungers, an outside table and six dining chairs. Down by the pool there are plenty of sunbeds for guest use and clean well maintained communal toilet facilities
We have arrangements with other owners to rent their properties too if your party is larger then 4, or for small children (under 10) it is possible to sleep on the large sofas, or to provide folding beds or inflatable mattresses at supplemental cost.
A full clean is included in the cost for stays of more than 1 week, and linen is provided at a cost of £15 per person per week. Clean linen can be provided as often as needed at the same rate.

About this location
The Andalucia region
The region’s history dates back to Phoenician times and has since been a home to Greeks, Romans and Moors, all of whom have left their mark on the area’s architecture. Perhaps less well known is the area’s culture. Often in the shadow of its neighbour Seville, the Costa and the Malaga province are home to some of the finest Flamenco shows, tapas bars, restaurants and secluded Andalucian mountain villages.
The infrastructure is well organised, with the new ‘Autopista del Sol’ toll motorway providing access from Malaga to Estepona and beyond to Gibraltar. The old N340 coast road is a little slower but offers some lovely sea views as it winds its way along the coast. Links between Granada, Seville and Cordoba are easily accessible for those wishing to venture further inland.
The annual average temperature is around 21C and there are over 300 days of sunshine a year - with such glorious weather, this really is an all year round holiday destination.
The Costa del Sol is a Mecca for sports activity enthusiasts centred on what has become known as the ‘Costa del Golf’. The region boasts numerous courses; add these to tennis clubs, equestrian courses, sailing clubs, diving and walking - what more could you ask for!
Children are not forgotten. If they have had enough of the pool and beach, entertainment is never far away. There is a Sea Life Centre, and several water and amusement parks are scattered along the coast. For families there are theme parks, go-karting, a safari park and many beautiful public gardens and lovely marinas such as La Duquesa.
For those seeking authentic Spain there are the ‘pueblos blancos’ (white towns) of Manilva and Casares, as well as the beautiful mountain town of Ronda, split by an impressive gorge. For some the main areas of attraction are the many bars and clubs in Puerto Banus and Marbella.
Inland from the terrific beaches and ports, with their fantastic range of restaurants and shops, you can explore the natural beauty of the Andalucian countryside and Sierra Nevada mountains, Moorish towns, parks, lakes and gorges, all there for you to explore. For the more adventurous, see the sights by hot air balloon or on horseback, or try your hand at abseiling, white water rafting or canoeing.
And don’t forget that trip to Gibraltar - great for duty free shopping, an unbeatable view from the top of the Rock (with the famous monkeys), astonishing caves, British Military history and unforgettable whale and dolphin-watching boat trips - a memorable day out.
Selwo Safari Park - Selwo Park is home to more than 2000 animals and birds. From the back of a safari truck, you will see elephants, zebra, giraffe, lion and antelope, plus many others. On the walking part of the safari, there are rope suspension bridges, a walk through aviary, and there is Zulu dancing and feasting on summer evenings!
Marbella Old Town - There is a lovely promenade down to the sea, but if you cross the road instead and head into the old town, you will get wonderfully lost in a maze of narrow alleys and courtyards, full of orange trees, bougainvillea and tapas bars and restaurants. Follow the signs for for Orange Square – ‘Plaza de los Naranjos’.
There are so many excellent restaurants and bars to eat out at that we can only begin to give you a flavour of the immense variety available. Traditional Spanish, seafood, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, English, Swedish and Italian cuisine are all available within a few minutes of the apartment.
If it is fashion you are after, then look no further than Puerto Banus, full of designer shops and well known stores such as Zara. Also here is El Corte Ingles, very similar to House of Fraser in the UK, which has a wide range of in-store designer franchises as well as good value quality own-brand clothing.
La Canada shopping mall, on the N340 on the other side of Marbella, is a huge air-conditioned shopping mall, with a wide variety of well known clothing chains, restaurants, cinema and bowling alley. Why not send Dad bowling with the kids while you shop in peace?
