Costa Galera Country Club is a new private development located in Estepona on the New Golden Mile just west of Marbella. The property is situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only about 3km away. Cosmopolitan Marbella (great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (great for people watching) are only 20 minutes away by car and the lively resorts of Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. The luxury resort of Sotogrande with its pro championship golf courses, polo grounds and superb marina is also within a short drive.
The club house features a beautifully laid out restaurant (with large al fresco terrace) which over looks the golf course and mountains. Additional on-site facilities include on-line email, and fax facilities which are provided at the club house reception.
The local area has everything from excellent golf courses, beaches, great restaurants as well as many things to occupy children including the Selwo Adventure Safari Park which is located close by.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
There are several attractions close by offering something for all of the family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona offers a great day out for all of the family, as does the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are two aqua parks close by, one in Mijas Costa and one in Torremolinos. A drive along the coast towards Malaga will take you to the Tivoli world theme park with its awe inspiring mountain cable car lift providing visitors with an excellent view of the coast.
Another great day out is a visit to Gibraltar (passports needed), where you can take a tour of 'The Rock' and have close contact with the Apes. For the more adventurous, you can take a day trip to Morocco on the fast ferry from Algercias. There are many beautiful villages, towns and cities located nearby including Casares, Ronda, Mijas, Seville and Granada to name but a few.
There are fantastic mountain ranges surrounding the coast and the closest is known as Sierra Bermeja, which is a national park and great for walks. Tarifa, the wind surfing capital of Europe is also a short drive away with its fantastic beaches and water sports for the more active.
For those who like the finer things in life you may want to visit Laguna Village, an exclusive beach club with a fusion of exquisite designer shops, a variety of restaurants situated first line beach and surrounded by lagoons with waterfalls and tropical gardens with palm trees. Laguna Village is approximately 5 minutes away and offers visitors an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the amazing views of Gibraltar whilst surrounded in luxury.

How to get there
The nearest airports to Costa Galera are Malaga and Gibraltar. Costa Galera is approx 55 minutes from Malaga airport and 30 minutes from Gibraltar airport.
Taxis are easily available from both airports.
An airport pick up and drop off service is also available and can be arranged for an additional fee.
Car hire is available at both airports from a number of reputable car hire companies and is recommended but not essential.
Taxis can be arranged at the country club reception during your stay.

Further details indoors: The property is a lovely two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor apartment which is furnished to a high standard. The property has its own private secluded garden which is perfect for families with young children. The master bedroom has a double bed whilst the second bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen is fitted with top of the range appliances and has a vast inventory of domestic items and utensils. All linen and towelling is supplied and extra sets are available for each room. The apartment has secure underground parking, hot and cold air conditioning and a security system. There is also 24 hour on-site security.
The apartment is managed by an English resident living on the complex who will be on hand for any help or assistance required.
Further details outdoors: The complex benefits from 8 communal swimming pools, 2 of which have large chiringuitas (pool bars) offering hot and cold food and a vast array of beverages. There is also a children’s playground area, a tennis court, golf driving range, putting greens and an on site golf academy all set within beautiful tropical landscaped gardens.
The true jewel of the complex is its clubhouse which features an indoor heated pool, thermal bath, sauna, Turkish bath and a health spa. The health spa features a tranquil relaxation chamber, a large lay-back Jacuzzi pool, aqua-therapy showers, hydro-therapy treatments and also boasts a wide range of treatments including facials, massages and other relaxation treatments. There is also a fully equipped gymnasium which offers a range of classes including yoga and aerobics.
