About the home

Interior Designed House with 4 double bedrooms on award winning Dominion Beach. Contemporary lounge with stylish dining area. New modern, designed fully equipped Kitchen & utility room. Beautiful patio terrace leading to magnificent garden area. Large secluded roof top terrace.

Many properties claim to be beachside but Dominion beach is one of the few truly beachside resorts with its own beach bar and full service restaurant, open though out the year for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers a complimentary WiFi internet, so don't forget to bring your laptop. There are also three fantastic pools, sumptuous tropical landscaped gardens and walkways which are interspersed with ornamental fountains and seating features.

We are one of very few truly beachside locations in the region and we enjoy the luxury of having our own seating on the beach where we can relax and enjoy a change from the poolside ambience. Situated between the five star Las Dunas and Kempinski hotels on the new golden mile.

In the lower floor third bedroom is a Children’s or second sitting room with Xbox console. 1st floor double master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. 1st floor twin second bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, lower floor twin third bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, lower floor twin fourth bedroom & a further shower room. Plasma & LCD televisions, satellite TV, DVD & CD system’s, air-conditioning & marble floors through out this stunning property.

Please note that we have one main sitting room and another in the lower third bedroom, both are equipped with satellite television so that the children can have their own space and the nearby restaurant offers a compliment WiFi internet, so don't forget to bring your laptop. There is also a Xbox Console on site with a selection of games. There is also a Security Safe in the property. Linen and towels are provided for use inside the property. Beach towels are not provided. Extra cleaning service is available on request. Please be aware that as a house there are stairs to negotiate in the property.

Just in case there is anything you particularly want to watch on the box we are able to watch English TV as well as all the local and other satellite channels and if the children want to watch a different program then they have their own TV in their separate lounge or you could always watch a DVD. We are able to put extra beds into the second lounge area if needed. Cots, high-chairs & extra beds are available.
The apartment itself and the Dominion beach complex has full Wi-Fi access.

The beach side pool is watched over by a life guard because knowing the little ones are safe creates a much more relaxing environment for the adults. Another great plus is that our beach is groomed most mornings at around 5 am to maximize the comfort and enjoyment on the sand. As well as our own personal bar & restaurant which offers complimentary WiFi internet, you can stroll along to two more great restaurants along the beach and after that you may want to hire a jet ski and work off the meal!
Dominion Beach is built for exclusive living. It is a fully secured gated community with 24 hour security, this mean that one can be confidant in the knowledge that your children will not be able to leave the complex by the front or beach entrance, without a electronic security key or being accompanied by an adult .

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa Del Sol, a fantastic strip of land, with boundaries of Mountains and the Mediterranean. Running for approximately 100 miles along Europe's most southern coast. You can see Africa and the snow on the mountains above Granada at the same time!

The Costa del Sol boasts a vast expanse of activities, sightseeing and history. Many within easy reach of the area where the apartment is located. There is something for everyone on the Costa del Sol.
Depending on what you enjoy you could drive for 10 minutes inland and find typical white Andalucia Villages or visit the trendy and famous Puerto Banus, with its bars, clubs, and restaurants and enjoy a meal mixed with the scent of orange blossom in Marbella Old Town.

Choose from 40 Golf courses on the Costa Del Sol, sit on the beaches, walk in the mountains, ski on the lakes, visit a children's theme park, go to a flea or street market.

The Costa Del Sol offers enjoy 320 days of sun a year with the hottest times in June – September. In winter, you can breakfast on your terrace and by lunchtime you can be skiing on the Sierra Nevada Mountains near to Granada.

Many of the famous golf courses are with 15 minutes walk away. Both children (and adults!) can enjoy a day at the Selwo Safari Park. Gibraltar, with its history and tax free shopping is only 40 minutes drive away and a spectacular sight to see (don’t forget to take your passport with you). Ronda and the many surrounding white Andalucian villages have great historic interest and give an insight to the ‘real’ Spain. All along the Costa del Sol, there are safe and clean beaches. A visit to the town and beach of Tarifa, just beyond Gibraltar, is well worth it, especially if you are a keen windsurfer.

The Estepona / New Golden Mile, Bel Air area

Dominion Beach is situated near Estepona town, a fifteen minute drive from Puerto Banus and just a forty minute drive from both Malaga and Gibraltar airports. The complex sits beachfront on the 'new Golden Mile' between the 5 star Las Dunas And Kempinski hotels. There is easy access to Gibraltar and stunning Sotogrande. You can visit Seville or even go skiing in Sierra Nevada. Dominion beach is surrounded by lots of quaint Andalusian villages & a profusion of mouth watering first class restaurants. Try it!

LOCAL ACTIVITIES:
Tennis, swimming, diving, roller blading, mountain biking, paragliding, paddle tennis, cricket, horse riding, polo, bowls, fishing, mountaineering, walking, hiking, cycling, and golfing are all available in the area around Dominion Beach. Even snow skiing is less than three hours away. If you just want to relax then you can stroll around the traditional Andalusian villages, go sherry tasting in Jerez or sight seeing in Seville. Visit Gibraltar with its tax free shopping, interesting caves and resident Apes or watch International Polo played in Sotogrande with its stunning Marina and Restaurants. You could of course indulge yourself in the many designer shops in the Millionaires playground of Puerto Banus or simply soak up the sun back at the luxurious surroundings of Dominion Beach. Stroll to the beach bar and dine overlooking the ocean while you watch the jet skiers & the boats. Take a dip in our fresh water pools or simply have a siesta. We don't think you will want to leave. SKIING:
Its amazing to think that in less than 3 hours you can be enjoying the fantastic Sierra Nevada ski resort. A perfect family resort with a reputation for plenty of snow and a long season it is one of the regions best kept secrets. Fed up with the high costs and pushing and shoving in France and Italy?, then look no further than this fabulous ski area. The resort is even becoming a favourite with the Beckhams, who were there at Christmas time. A great idea is to take a two destination holiday over the winter months. Fly to Malaga and pick up your car equipped with snow chains (we are happy to suggest a very good and very reasonable car hire company that our family has used for years) and then drive about two and a half hours up to Sierra Nevada for superb skiing, then when you have exhausted those muscles drive to Dominion Beach in under 3 hours for a bit of R&R in super weather. At the end of your stay simply drop the car back at Malaga airport and start thinking about next years trip.

GOLF:
The area between Gibraltar and Malaga is a paradise for golfers as there are nearly fifty courses to choose from including Valderrama which was the venue chosen for the 1997 Ryder Cup and has been described as 'Europe's finest. 'There is even Europe's first floodlit course, La dama de Noche for those of you who may wish to play 24 hours a day !!. It would take many many return trips to take in the huge amount of superb courses around Dominion Beach so come and join us because we think you will want to return to our house time and time again.

Flight time is no more than 2.5 - 3 hours.

Taxis from Malaga Airport are approx 80 Euros and Gibraltar airport approx 50 Euros.

We recommend that you hire a car to benefit from the many things to do and see in the area during your holiday. Rental car companies include www.autoparis.com, www.malagacar.com and all the big multinationals such as Hertz, Avis, National, etc. Alternatively hire cars can be arranged on arrival. Although the taxi services get you about just as easy.

Malaga and Gibraltar airport its approx 40-60 minutes drive to the Dominion Beach house. The journey from the airport is straight forward and offers great scenery with roads that are pleasant to drive on.
A map and full directions to the apartment from the airport are available if required. You can hire a car or take a taxi and you will be met personally at the apartment to hand over the keys.
