The apartment at Hacienda Casares is situated on the Dona Julia golf course with beautiful views over the golf course directly looking out on the 7th hole and stunning views down the golf course to the sea. A golfer's paradise!
On a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the North Africa coastline. It is a very peaceful setting with an abundance of birds and wildlife and is only a 5 minute drive to the sea and several bars and restaurants, however a car is a necessity as the road leading to the development rises quite steeply.
The apartment is on the ground floor with direct access from the road within the gated community. There is a secure underground car park with a private space just below the property.
The apartment has an upper terrace which provides shade in the heat of the day and is equipped with a table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining. There are steps leading down from the upper terrace to a large paved garden area which is a sun trap and ideal for relaxing, sunbathing and entertaining and with the sunshine for most of the day into late evening. The private terrace and garden are perfect for chilling out and enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer while watching the sun set.
The apartment is well furnished and there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washer dryer.
It is suitable for groups of golfers, friends or families as it is spacious with a large entertaining area and a secure utility room for storage of golf clubs. The apartment is a superb base for golfers, as more than 60 golf courses stretch along the Costa Del Sol.
There is a communal pool which is only 2 minutes walk from the front door with views of the mountains behind.
The apartment is managed by a professional English speaking local company, who will meet and greet you, provide 2 sets of keys and take you to the apartment. They also provide emergency contact details, information and maps of the area. Welcoming tea, coffee and water are provided in the apartment upon arrival. The apartment will be cleaned and towels and linen changed if the holiday is for 2 weeks or more. The apartment is in a community with an employed gardener who also maintains the pool.
The apartment is on an urbanisation where properties behind it have been built but not occupied. This does not change the beautiful view and peaceful setting looking out from the apartment. Relax and enjoy it!

The Costa del Sol region
The Costa Del Sol area has over. 300 days of sunshine and the average temperatures around 20c. makes it an ideal place to visit for those seeking warm weather. There are many blue flag beaches, bars and restaurants. The area is famous for golf, and the property is surrounded by no less than 60 Golf courses.
There are many world class golf courses including Finca Cortesin only 2km away - home of the Volvo PGA masters in 2010.
Marbella, Puerto Banus and Gibraltar are only a short distance along the coast. Well worth a visit.
A day trip to Morocco on the Hydrofoil is a good way to experience a taste of North Africa .
The beautiful ancient town of Ronda high in the mountains has breathtaking views and a busy town centre. I.5 hours drive away.
For those who are interested in horse riding, there is a riding school at San Pedro. Selwo safari and adventure parks are also close by for all the family. Sea fishing on local beaches or via boat hire, and bird watching are all available nearby.
There are several restaurants on and around the local beach plus the 5* Finca Cortesin beach club. The newly opened Rossario gardens offers further entertainment for all the family with evening performances by local artists and shows in the open air theatre. Children can play in the park, enjoy an ice cream, whilst adults can enjoy a cold beer in the fully stocked bar.
The local town of Sabinillas is less than 10 minutes drive away. The town has an attractive beach-side promenade and a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. Many shops, a pharmacy and 3 large supermarkets.
There is also a Lidl supermarket just down the road from the apartment. It now has a fresh meat and fish counter. Plus, many reasonably priced wines, beers and soft drinks etc.
Next to Sabinillas is the lively port of Puerto de la Duquesa, offering international cuisines in a variety of excellent restaurants overlooking the marina, and plenty of night-time entertainment.
The beautiful village of old Casares is well worth a visit and is renowned for its pretty white houses - one of Spain's best kept secrets. Only 20 minutes drive up the Casares Road. A haven for bird watchers as Griffon vultures and hawks can be seen circling on the thermals high around Casares above the church, castle ruins and pretty cemetery.
