El Campanario is ideally located just 10 mins drive west of world-famous Puerto Banus and Marbella on the New Golden Mile, and 7 kms from Benahavis the gourmet capital of the Costa del Sol! The typical Andalusian architecture is set amongst award-winning designed tropical gardens. There are 3 outdoor communal swimming pools and a small pool for children with showers just a few steps away from the apartment. The whole complex is secure with both gates and a 24 hour guard. Parking is available both adjacent to our ground-floor apartment but also in an underground car-park with lift or stair access.

The El Campanario Golf and Country Club is open to members and non-members alike for access to the restaurant and bar. Other facilities (9 hole golf course, tennis, gymnasium, spa, indoor pool, sauna etc.) are available for a fee. Please enquire. The Club also offers yoga classes, massages and children's activities during main holidays.

The apartment has been completely redecorated and is presented in an almost new condition. The kitchen is brand new with new stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped. The apartment is fully furnished and has a large sofa and additional sofa-bed in the lounge area and can therefore accommodate up to six people. Patio doors from both the lounge and master bedroom lead onto the spacious West-facing terrace for afternoon and evening sun. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating and full baths with shower attachment. The master bedroom has a King Size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds with high quality mattresses. There are large fitted wardrobes in both bedrooms with both drawer and hanging-space. Both bedrooms and lounge have remote-controlled automated exterior window shutters.

A foldaway cot is available on request (additional rental charge)

The apartment has hot and cold air, free broadband internet / WiFi and a safe in the master bedroom. In the lounge, UK and many other TV channels are available via the internet and computer provided.


El Campanario's exclusive 9 hole, par 27 golf course was designed by Manuel Pinero - one of Spain's most talented golfers, with 21 national and international victories under his belt - and inaugurated in 2003. With each hole boasting its own distinctive characteristics the course is ideal for players of all levels and abilities and even the most experienced will enjoy the challenges it presents. Interspersed with lakes, fountains and other pleasing water features bisected by the gently meandering Arroyo Dos Hermanas stream and sensitively planted with Mediterranean species such as mature olive trees, the course is totally at one with the splendor of its natural surroundings. Other services and facilities include a putting green, Pro-shop, individual, semi-individual and group coaching as well as club and handcart hire.

For golfing enthusiasts there are a very wide range of courses within a 15 minute drive from El Campanario including:

"Great place!!"

We visited El Campanario this summer with our two children and had a great time! The apartment is beautiful and very practical: everything you need is available: from a washing machine to a dishwasher, iron, water boiler.... everything! The two bedrooms are very comfortable and two separate bathrooms are a real luxury! We always ate outside on the terrace, which is always in the shade and thus very cool!
Near the apartment are 2 beautiful pools and a smaller pool for toddlers. The gardens are also very well maintained.
Don't miss out on the chance to go to a flamenco evening in the golf club in front of the apartment, it is amazing! The show was beautiful and the food delicious!
We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely go back!

"Great Place - recommendable"

Really friendly atmosphere. Apartments are fully equipped. Pools are great quality. Friendly, quiet and very close to Marbella.

"Great Stay on the Costa del Sol!"

Absolutely loved this 2 bed 2 bath apartment in the El Campanario Report, Country Club and Golf, 10 minutes by car from Puerto Banus. The keys were waiting for us on arrival with the 24/7 security guard as promised. Super clean, seems like a brand new fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely open plan lounge and dining area. There were 4 of us, so the extra large double bed and en-suite bathroom, and second twin bedded room with the second bathroom was ideal. The terrace was really spacious and even now we still got lovely sun in the afternoon. We heard from a few friends who live on the Costa del Sol that they had just lost their English TV so top marks to Peter and Sue the owners for taking care of that with a computer and fast broadband / internet connection in the lounge. To have WiFi available at no extra cost and a TV and DVD in the lounge and both bedrooms was an added bonus. We loved that we could literally walk across the road to the Country Club and enjoy a great meal and drink without having to drive anywhere. But with just a short drive or even pleasant walk we found any number of great restaurants serving every type of cuisine at reasonable prices. Highly recommended and a pleasure to rent from the owners. Thank you and we will definitely come again.

"Another great week away!!!"

My partner and I were so impressed with this apartment when we stayed last year, that we booked again at the end of January.

Everything was superb again, spotlessly clean. This time we had the added bonus of UK TV. Will definitely come again as the apartment is really well located, and we had days out in Ronda and went to the caves in Nerja. Great restaurants nearby and a few minutes drive to Puerto Banus.

"Beautifully presented apartment and great people to deal with"

We booked this apartment on the strength of 2 online reviews and we were not disappointed. The apartment is exceptionally clean and very well presented.
The apartment is comfortable and spacious and the pools are fantastic with lovely gardens that are maintained on a daily basis.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are a short drive and Estepona in the opposite direction is well worth a visit. Our favourite beaches were Cristo Beach in Estepona and the beach at Puerto Banus.
There are a handful of restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance of the apartment but I would recommend a car to reach the larger supermarkets which are much cheaper and also to reach the best beaches.
The owner was very helpful and prompt in responding to our enquiries and our deposit was returned in full the very next working day after our return.
We would recommend this apartment.

"Great property and great value for the price"

We stayed a few days in this property, which is owned by Susan and Peter. The house is beautiful, it is located in a very nice and quite area with golf club and gardens. The house was perfectly clean, furniture was new and everything worked perfectly. We also had a courtesy wi-fi Internet connection, which was totally unexpected and very much appreciated.

the area is a few minutes car ride from Puerto Banús, Marbella. You will need a car to reach the property.

The owners are lovely and were always available to help in case of need.

The value for the price was great. Fully recommended.

"A great getaway!"

My partner and I have just spent a week at this apartment in the El Campanario resort. We loved it. The keys were waiting for us with the security guard outside the gates on our arrival and we were shown to the apartment which was very conveniently located near the main entrance.

The apartment has obviously been subject to a complete refurbishment and redecoration, the kitchen and all of the appliances were brand new and so were the beds and mattresses which were really comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. Everything has been furnished to a really good standard. Linens and towels were provided and everything was spotlessly clean.

The resort has beautiful gardens and pools all of which were really well maintained. The apartment is located literally opposite the El Campanario Country Club and Spa. There is a nice restaurant and bar open to non-members. The club puts on themed evenings and dinners which were reasonable priced and of course no need to drive. We did not use the underground car park as we were happy to park virtually outside the apartment but that would be an added bonus when the weather was really hot. The west-facing terrace was lovely to sit out in the evening. The remote controlled blinds to the bedrooms and lounge were a nice touch. Location was superb, just 10 minutes in the car past Marbella / Puerto Banus through the new tunnel at San Pedro which makes a lot of difference. The beach is about 15 minutes walk down to the main road, over the pedestrian bridge and then down by the side of the Marriott resort which is opposite. There are some nice bars and plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive / cab. Our favourite was Cocomos behind the Robin Hood pub. The previous exit was for Benahavis which has so many great restaurants it is impossible to choose! All in all this was a great apartment and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely go back again as our expectations were exceeded. Highly recommended.
