With it's communal gym, in -door heated swimming pool, Sauna and steam facilities. Wi-Fi in the apartment and computer / internet access in the main buildin. Mar Azul is a beautiful and beautifully looked after apartment complex with it's beach front location next to Kempinski Hotel, Laguna Village and Puro Beach. Surrounded by an amazing selection of good cuisine and golf courses all a short drive or walk away. There is twenty four hour security staff who are are based in the main building where there is a communial lounge and terrace that overlooks the 'Asian Water Garden & infinity swimming pool ' and on a clear day you can see Morocco shimmering on the Mediterranean sea in the distance.
The beach gate at the bottom of the Asian Water Garden gives you direct access to the beach and a few minutes walk away is the Kempinski Hotel and all of it's water sports and Laguna Village full of designer boutiques, shops, bars cafe's restaurants and Puro beach, here you can go for a sunbathe on one of the beach beds or just visit for a drink or meal and soak up the atmosphere.
We have just had Wi Fi connected so you can now get the internet in our apartment during your stay with us!

The apartment is furnished and equipped to provide you with a luxurious home from home experience, by providing all the utilities required for the perfect holiday and being clean and comfortable. We provide stylish place settings for 12 people, enough to let the dishwasher get full or invite guests to join you!! We have bought the most comfortable top quality mattresses for the kings-size and single beds and for extra comfort we have also provided toppers and bed protectors. Fresh white top and bottom sheets are provided with a winter or summer quilt. An air conditioning system that actually works - for the long hot summer days and if its not so warm heating, no need to worry about the cold marble floors as an under tiles heating system is also provided with individual controls for each room. The marble main bathroom has his and hers sink with heated non-steam mirrors next to the hydro-massage walk in shower and an extra large Jacuzzi bath. The kitchen also reflects the rest of the apartment being integral with granite work tops, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, eye level oven, electric hob with an extractor above and micro wave are all provided and I have even added a breakfast table and four stools for a quick bite to eat before popping out. The iron and ironing board are in the hot water tank cupboard. The lounge has a 32 inch flat screen TV connected to sky and a DVD CD and MP3 player (so bring your ipods! and connectors!). All in front of a large comfortable sofa bed, which can easily be folded back to a sofa during the day time. The windows and sliding doors have mosquito nets fitted. The apartment has two terraces which are covered by the terraces above but means you can use them all year round even when it’s raining it’s a short stroll through the Asian gardens and water features to sunbathe and swim around the infinity poolside .The terrace leading from the lounge has a modern smoked glassed table and six matching chairs for dining out and is the deal size for playing family games which we provide in the apartment for you. The terrace leading out from the main bedroom has a comfortable outside, two seat sofa with two matching arm chairs and a large coffee table this is where when I am staying in the apartment you will find me drinking a glass or two of the local wine and my husband reading the latest novel! Or playing Backgammon together as we are keen players!!

It is hard to describe how amazing the outside area of this complex is. I am going to start from the main entrance and work from Reception to the Beach. Enter the reception area through the glass rotating doors and you will find a haven of cream, gold and pale turquoise tranquility with an indoor water fountain. To your right there is a reception desk with a receptionist and security guard who will be holding your apartment key card.
Just past this area is a stunningly smart lounge and bar area furnished in velvet, silk and deep mahogany which can be for personal use or as a business meeting area, there is a communal computer room adjoining but this might need to be booked in advance.. If you we now return back to the lounge and step out on the sunny terrace from here you will have a picture perfect view of the terracotta complex with it’s stunningly designed Asian water gardens and infinity swimming pool. On a clear day you can see Morocco and the Rock of Gibraltar across the simmering Mediterranean sea. You then walk down some steps and walk though the gardens and water features with stone benches to rest on and stone Asian artwork is dotted all around you. The infinity pool winds around the garden with secluded sunbathing areas and water Jacuzzis a bridge goes over the swimming pool and will take you from one side to the other side of the complex, there are also two sun huts with comfortable seating to relax and play board games in and just by the gates that would take you to the beach is a juice bar only open during high season. If you go through the gates to the beach you can stroll along the sand to the Kempinski Hotel, Lagguna Village and Puro beach. Stroll the other way and you’re a five minute walk to Alcazaba beach which also has a beach restaurant open from Easter to end of September in the more traditional Spanish style open to non residents as well.
It's really hard to express in words how amazing it is to swim in this infinity pool until you have actually done so yourself !!!

THIS IS A NON SMOKING APARTMENT. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace ashtrays are provided.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times in the communal areas and are not allowed around the swimming pool areas.
Children under the age of 14 have to be supervised around the out door swimming pool.
In-Door heated pool children under the age of 18 must be supervisded by an adult as this is an un staffed area.
Gym No children under the age of 12 and children between 12 and 18 must be supervised by an adult.
Swimming caps are required for the indoor heated pool
Please only park on our designated car parking space number T12 in the under ground car park.
Changeover days flexible prefer Saturday to Saturday during July and August (please see calendar for available dates).
We have a house keeper/managing agent who looks after the apartment and all our guests any problems they are there to help you.
If guests are arriving the same day guests are leaving please vacate apartment by 11.00 hours and if you are arriving you will be able to gain entry into apartment by 16.00 hours local time. These times are flexible the rest of the time and we will confirm entry and departure times nearer the date of your booking.
Conditions
LINEN AND CLEANING
If you are staying in the apartment for one night to seven or eight nights the apartment will be clean and ready for your arrival with beds made up with fresh bed linen a bath towel and hand towel per person as well as a bath mat in each bathroom also two tea towels and an oven glove in the kitchen also an extra black bath size towel per person will be found in the bedroom wardrobe as an extra towel that can double up as a beach towel.
For nine to thirteen night bookings a sur charge of will be added to your invoice to allow you to have a quick mid stay clean and change of linen half way through you holiday, see below for full details of a quick mid stay clean.
If you are staying for two weeks the quick mid stay clean and change of linen will be included in the price.
Beach towels will only be provided once on a two week stay but they can be placed into the apartment washing machine during your stay at any time you wish to wash them during your holiday. In the summer because we use a top and bottom sheet on the beds the quilt covers are not changed until the end of your stay.
You will be informed by email of the date day and time of the quick mid stay clean and change of linen. The house keeper has a set of keys to let herself into the apartment to do the quick mid stay clean and change of linen so it is up to you if you are in the apartment or not when the house keeper arrives. The tidier the apartment the better she can do her mid stay clean.
If the sofa bed is being used the linen and towels will be found neatly folded in the wardrobe of the second bedroom. Quilt and pillows and bed protector will be found in the storage area of the sofa bed.
Cot and high chair hire. Two blue towels will be left out for the baby/ toddler and no white towels. Cot linen is only provided once but can be put into the washing machine and tumble dryer any time during your stay.
Optional extras available free of charge baby bath, changing mat, toddler table and two chairs plus a selection of plastic crockery and cutlery and a hand blender to make baby food.

We offer a range of extras such as white over sized towelling robes, welcome food shop, airport transfers, cot and high chair hire. Price list will be sent by email when you make your booking.

If you're feeling the beach is fine but not all the time our luxury Estepona apartment offers this with a dollop of socialising, shopping, visiting Puerto Banus for a drink at one of its many bars and restaurants or if the urge takes you having a gamble at the casino or even dancing at one of the many night clubs on offer. Marbella's Orange Square is well worth a visit to do some holiday shopping. Thirty minutes from Gibraltar Airport or one hour from Malaga Airport or two and a half hours from Jerez Airport ideally situated on the beach front next to the Kempinski Hotel, Lagguna Village, Puro Beach and Carrefour’s a five minute drive down the road for all your food supplies. Your also in driving distance to visit many places of interest like Rhonda Gibraltar Tarifia Malaga and Granada to name but a few for the younger kids Selwo Safari Park Crocodile Adventures Tivoli World Acquasplash Dolphin Safari from Gibraltar and Whale watching in Tarifia are just a few of the activities on offer with in driving distance.

The name marbella is synonymous with the jet set life style – lavish homes beautiful people and stylish living but the real star attraction is the unique microclimate, giving 320 days of annual sunshine. Mar Azul is ideally situated on the new golden mile between Marbella and Estepona with two prestigious golf courses of Los Flamingos and El Paraiso are just a few minutes away. Other activities in the area are tennis, horse riding too many to mention or if you feel like a slightly less stressful activity yacht watching in Puerto Banus from one of the many restaurants and bars on the port front.

If you are looking for a comfortable, luxury apartment with everything you could need, look no further. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in December and couldn't of wished for a more peaceful place to holiday. We stayed at Caroline's Apartment for the October school holidays, with 12 & 17 year olds. The apartment is as it says on the details, Very clean, tastefully decorated, home from home!(very comfortable beds). We arrived late and the security staff could not have been more helpful, walking us to the underground car park & to the apartment. The complex itself is great, very private, and well maintained, would love to have used the outdoor pool it looked very tempting but the weather was not great ( it was October). Would love to return in the summer to make full use of the swimming pool & beach. We used the resturants at Laguna Village , Camuri was excellent!! Would definately recommend hiring a car for getting out & about . You won't be dissapointed with anything!! |

This holiday was not what we had originally planned as when we booked we had hoped to do a lot of sight seeing . Unfortunatly due to my husband developing Shingles 3 weeks before our departure the holiday became a chance for him to recouperate so we just chilled. The apartment gave us the chance to do this as it became a home from home. Caroline has thought of everything that a couple or family may require what ever the weather. We were very fortunate in that we missed the heavy rain by only days and enjoyed 6 days of sunshine. We are looking forward to when we can return in order to explore the area. The security staff are very friendly and welcoming. |

CHANGE OVER DAYS ARE FLEXIBLE DURING JULY AND AUGUST WE WOULD PREFER SATURDAY TO SATURDAY
We can if necessary give a no obligation 24 hour hold on the dates you wish to book to enable you to buy your flights & hire a car knowing you have the apartment reserved.
I recommend booking your car hire at the same time you are booking your flights and apartment.
This complex in July and August has a pool side bar that serves drinks and food.
The price includes Wi-Fi connection in the apartment for you to use if you bring your own lap top/s
The price includes entry into the indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Children under the age of 18 need to be supervised in the in-door pool area, gym and spa by an adult and a disclaimer signed
THESE EXTRAS ARE PROVIDED BY THE MAINTENANCE COMPANY AND I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONIBLE IF THEY ARE NOT ROVIDED FOR AMNY REASON.
For nine to thirteen night bookings and for all Autumn / Spring bookings between 1st October and 30th May a sur-charge will be added to your invoice to allow you to have a quick mid stay clean change of linen half way through you holiday. All other two week bookings the quick md stay clean and change of linen is included.
Please note we are not taking holding deposit or damage deposit. There is one payment three months before booking or at time of booking if you’re departure date is within three months.
If you should incur accidental damage we will relay on your good nature to inform housekeeping and myself of the damage and we can then get it repaired or replaced and settle up with you on your return.
I take payment by internet banking or if you prefer by cheque. Payment details will be sent at the time of booking.
Prices are based on occupancy of two four and six persons,
Payment is due in full if booking within three months of arrival date.
If booking is more than three months from arrival then please send us the full amount three months before departure.
Please note you are responsible to take out your own travel insurance.
