About the home

This spacious villa offers unparalleled facilities in a private quiet location with mature tropical gardens. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard. This luxury home has a large modern open living room with a separate dining area. The living space opens up via two floor to ceiling patio windows to a large outside dining and seating area, overlooking the private pool and gardens. There is also a separate built in BBQ area with seating.

All five double bedrooms are fully air conditioned.Three bedrooms have sumptuous en-suite bathrooms. There is also a large family bathroom. The kitchen/breakfast area has views over the private driveway and is fully fitted, with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and leads to the laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a smaller kitchen and living area in the self contained guest flat, which boasts it's own 1st floor balcony for sunbathing or dining.

The elegant living and dining room lead into a large tiled patio area with seating for 10 and a built in barbecue. From there you can enjoy the beautiful landscaped gardens or enjoy a dip in the villa's private pool! The impressive gardens and garden walls offer excellent privacy and security.

With just a 10 minute drive into Puerto Banus and Marbella, it is a great base for which to relax and enjoy the sights of Andulucia, or the busy exclusive bars, restaurants and boutiques of Marbella and Puerto Banus.

The Costa del Sol region

The resort is most famous for its beaches, its glitzy ‘Golden Mile’ and the millionaire’s yacht marina at Puerto Banus. But there’s much more to Marbella. The coast line is wonderful for its beaches and watersports, but consider hiring a car and head in land for wonderful scenery and a taste of real Spanish life.

The Estepona area

The nearby town of Estepona is worth a visit. This once tiny fishing and farming community is at the quieter end of the Costa Del Sol and has retained much of its pueblo charm. The town has managed to embrace modern tourism without surrendering its traditional Spanish character and appeal. It’s the perfect location for families.

“Excellent Location” We stayed at Casa Las Pinas in July this year (2011) with a group of friends and 2 children aged 10 and 14. The Villa was well maintained and stocked with everything necessary to make our holiday really enjoyable. The bedrooms are all lovely and the air conditioning in each bedroom was a real treat after the 30 degree temps of the day. The only thing we found a little bit of a pain was the depth of the pool....at 1.6m - 1.8m, not a lot of us could stand unaided, although having said that it never stopped us from using the pool and didn't stop us from having a great holiday. The location of this Villa is fantastic, it is only 20 mins on the local bus to the lovely beach at Estepona, and about 20 mins in the other direction to Puerto Banus. Also, when you walk out the door of the Villa you are only 5mins walk to a great selection of bars and restaurants. A jug of Sangria is a must from Lola's bar (2mins walk away)! We tried the local Indian, Chinese and English restaurants and they were all excellent. We never had a bad meal. Another must is take away Fish and Chips from Pegottys.....amazing, and the little cooked chicken shop where you can get the most delicious cooked chickens to take away comes very highly recommended. All in all this Villa was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

From the start, the service and communication provided by Paul, Pippa and the company was extremely efficient and friendly. Even though we turned up early and left slightly late due to our flight times, the couple who greeted us at the villa could not have been more helpful. The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained, and we were given useful, friendly advice on what to do and where to go. Even though the beach area near the property is currently undergoing a bit of a facelift, the facilities in and around the villa ensured that we weren't bored. Friendly local businesses added to the whole experience, in particular Brubeck's bar, and an English butcher that supplied our bbq meat. The local Spanish bars and restaurants were also extremely accommodating,and reasonably priced. A suggested day out would be a bus trip down to Gibraltar, about an hour and a half's journey, but well worth it for the scenery and the history. All in all, a really enjoyable holiday, and i'll definitely be bearing the property in mind again next year, though possibly with an extra week and some golf clubs!
