About the home

With 3 bedrooms, this property sleeps 6 people. The first bedroom is en suite with a sink, toilet & bath. There is a second bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet & lovely shower. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

The dining area has a large table & 6 chairs. The lounge has comfortable sofas, tv & dvd player.

The private garage is within the property. The lovely kitchen has been fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob & fridge freezer. In the villas beautiful very private garden is a wonderful 8x4m swimming pool with roman steps

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol has a wonderful climate - sunny and hot for the spring and summer months, and mild during the winter - the perfect year round holiday destination. There is plenty to see and do - or just relax on the golden sands! Why not take a visit to nearby places of interest in Andalucia - Granada with the Alhambra Palace, Sevilla and its magnificent cathedral, or Ronda with its huge cliffs and spectacular drawbridge.

If it’s golf you want to play, here is another reason to come to Villa Melger, the Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf! – (Coast of Golf), we have many superb golf courses, the famous Monte Mayor is just 7km away. You have at least 5 courses within a 25 minute drive, including the fantastic Estepona Golf & El Paraiso courses.

With very easy access to the N340 highway & only 45 minutes from both Malaga & Gibraltar airports this property is centrally located.
The sandy beach is just a 2 minute walk from the villa. You will find typical Spanish beach bars/restaurants “chirringuitos” serving fresh fish & great food all along the beaches in Spain. We are fortunate to have 2 lovely chirringuitos within just a 5 minute stroll from the villa. Turning left or right, within 25 minutes walk along the beach you will find at least 5 other chirringuitos.
There is a 24 hour petrol station just 1 minute from the villa, this sells everything!!! – Fresh bread baked daily, newspapers, it’s not just a petrol station, it is also a fully equipped supermarket.
The urbanisation of El Saladillo is made up of private villas, so quite exclusive. We have our own park with playground for the children, boules, tennis court & large grass areas nice for picnics. You are welcome to take advantage of these facilities during your stay at our villa.
We recommend car hire if you wish to explore the area, but it is not essential.
2 big supermarkets and banks etc are about 600metres away, located over the road, accessed by the footbridge or by car. There are also restaurants & bars here. There is a grill restaurant just next to the petrol station. There is a Mexican restaurant at the opposite end of the park with a small but very handy convenience store a few metres down the road.
There are 4 excellent hotels both 4 & 5 star rated within the very “local” area, so this location is very desirable.
