Villa | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
This beautiful stylish modern villa is set within its own private tropical palm gardens and commands the most amazing views. Directly in front you have the sea towards Gibraltar, the Mediterranean and Africa, whilst behind the villa you have the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. The villa is built with quality in mind and is absolutely perfect for those who wish to enjoy a totally quiet, peaceful and relaxing location in an “away-from-it-all” setting in beautiful gardens with more than decent private swimming pool and sun beds, whilst only being only 2km from the hustle and bustle of Estepona town. When you arrive, the silence of the mountains is almost deafening – you feel 'on top of the world'. The villa is an ideal place to totally rest, unwind and let go. It is also great place to bring children who will enjoy the swimming pool while the parents can look on with a good book, a sun lounger and just simply relax. I would highly recommend this villa to anybody without question.

The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol ("Sunny Coast" or more literally, "Coast of the Sun") is a region in the south of Spain, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, comprising the coastal towns and communities along the Mediterranean coastline of the Province of Málaga. The Costa del Sol is situated between two lesser known costas: Costa de la Luz and Costa Tropical. Formerly made up only of a series of small, quiet fishing settlements, the region has been completely transformed during the latter part of the 20th century into a tourist destination of world renown.
It includes the city of Málaga and the towns of Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, San Pedro de Alcántara, Estepona, Manilva, Casares, Rincón de la Victoria, Vélez-Málaga, Nerja, Frigiliana and Torrox. The Costa del Sol extends from the cliffs at Maro in the East to Punto Chullera in the west. Settlement in the region dates back to the Bronze Age, and has been colonised and ruled by many cultures such as the Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Visigoths and Moors, before the Reconquista.
This wonderful villa is located just 2km above the town of Estepona. Estepona has attractions for all. Shallow-water, sandy bays for the youngsters and beach bars that provide water sports for the not so young! The town has plenty of restaurants, bars and night life. Then there's the port of Estepona with even more restaurants, bars, and clubs. During the day the port is a great place to escape the heat and while away a few hours with a newspaper, a coffee (or something stronger!) and watch the people go by! Estepona is just a short drive a away from Marbella and Gibraltar.

"A Little Gem"
Great little villa for tranquility. Wonderful garden and stunning views. Interior a little stark/IKEA but immaculate. Two good sized rooms and en suites. Access road not for feint hearted and get a car with a decent sized engine.
We are pleased to hear you like the Villa Hoja. Thanks for taking the time to write the review!

"Carefully developed and maintained"
First thing we noticed was the beautiful view over Estepona and towards the sea. Secondly, it is clear the owners invested serious time and money in developing and maintaining the garden. Finally, all… More
We are really pleased to hear you had a great time in this lovely villa in Estepona.
The views are wonderful and such a peaceful location.

Lovely villa for one couple and their children, however if you are two couples staying the upstairs bedroom is spacious and luxurious but the downstairs bedroom is tiny and the oversized bed fills the room so you struggle to walk round it. The wardrobe door hits the bed when you open it. The "private" bathroom for this bedroom is at the back of the lounge, not good if the other couple are up and about or very private. Garden is lovely as is the pool and the views are stunning. Kitchen was well equipped. I would recommend hiring a 4 x 4 as the road/track had huge potholes in it and is very steep.
Many thanks for review.
We do appreaciate people taking the time to do this.
