This luxury high-quality penthouse, with very large south-facing 55M² terrace offering stunning panoramic views to the sea and mountains, is located at the outskirts of Estepona, next to Selwo Nature Reserve (animals can often be seen to the rear of the kitchen window) and is only five minutes drive to the beach. Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the larger resorts such as Puerto Banus and Marbella, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The complex is small and benefits from 3 beautiful swimming pools.

The apartment is very spacious, with tall ceilings and marble floors throughout and finished to a very high standard. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable, with large built-in wardrobes. The Master bedroom benefits from a sliding patio door onto the 55M² south facing terrace with stunning views to the golf course and the sea. The terrace has comfortable seating for six, with tables and chairs, terrace sofa and sun beds.

La Resina Golf is a new holiday complex of apartments overlooking the golf course. The complex is small and benefits from three swimming pools, including a toddlers' pool.

The very latest air conditioning system (with heating) is fitted and the apartment has a large plasma screen TV with a separate stereo system. All furnishings are very elegant and well made.

The apartment is located in a secure gated community with a key coded access, all doors and windows have multiple locks and the apartment benefits from having a state-of-the-art fully monitored security alarm system.

The apartment has secure underground parking (with a dedicated space) and a lift provides direct access to the apartment (suitable for disabled people). The closest pool to the apartment is only 50 metres away and it is beautifully set in tropical gardens, overlooking the magnificent Selwo Nature Reserve. The other two pools are just a minute away and one is ideal for toddlers or children who are unable to swim. All the pools are surrounded by large lawns for sunbathing and wash room facilities are provided.

20% deposit due at time of booking, balance due six weeks before commencement of stay.

Refundable breakages deposit of £160 is required. This will be refunded 1 week after departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection)

The Andalucia region

Estepona is the Costa del Sol's most westerly resort and lies 75 km from Malaga airport at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountains. Originally a fishing village Estepona has developed as a mainly Spanish resort and has managed to avoid too many high rise hotels and apartment blocks.

It has a much more authentic atmosphere than many of the other resorts of the Costa del Sol with typical Andalusian whitewashed houses and balconies decorated with flowers. The houses are whitewashed and iron gates painted every year to maintain the feeling of a cared for town. Locals can often be seen chatting outside these houses. In the old part of the town the streets are still cobbled whilst along the seafront runs a very pretty promenade lined with palm trees and flowers. Some chiringuitos (beach bars) are to be found along this promenade.

Estepona’s beaches are, of course, one of its main attractions, there are so many and so varied that for sure we can always find on them our place in the sun without worrying about crowds and mass tourism. The presence of the mountains a few miles away brings a special charm to this place when we get tired of sand and sea, we can always guide our steps toward the mountains full of streams that rise up majestically above a fertile valley. Perhaps it was the beauty of the place, or perhaps the presence of a natural harbor, which made both the Iberians and the Romans and the Arabs consider Estepona as a perfect place to settle. All of these cultures left their mark on the city and surroundings, and the great monuments that the locality is witness. Beacon towers, churches, ruins of magnificent castles. History lovers will not have a respite in this place, which also has great archaeological sites.

Estepona is a perfect resort for families and people looking for a quiet holiday away from the busy nightlife of some of the more commercialized resorts along the coast, although there are some disco pubs around the marina. There are many traditional tapas bars around Plaza Las Flores and some excellent restaurants specializing in seafood and fish dishes.

Estepona, like all other Andalusian towns, takes the opportunity to celebrate and party as much as possible. Three of its main festivals are San Isidro celebrated on May 15th with processions and a party in the countryside, the local town festival celebrated during the first week of June in the fairground and the festival of The Virgen del Carmen on July 16th when a statue of the virgin is carried out to sea and back on fishing boats.

"A great location for a romantic getaway"

"Stylish place with fantastic views"

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment in March. It's located on the heights above the golf course and safari park, and within easy striking distance of all things worthwhile. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby.
The interior is spacious, elegant and very luxurious, with marble floors and modern designer furniture throughout. The swimming pools and gardens are very well maintaned. We particularly loved the huge terrace with spectacular extending views. We could even see Africa in the distance! In our opinion, it's the ideal place for people who want to enjoy privacy either with friends or with the family and yet be able to participate to lots of social activities. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they provided an excellent instruction manual for the apartment which made our stay so easy. We will definitely be returning when we come out to Andalusia again next year!
