The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Estepona is located on the Costa del Sol, and stands at the bottom of the imposing Sierra Bermeja Mountains, looking out over the Mediterranean. estepona has a charm of its own, the resort is conveniently situated between Malaga and Gibraltar airports, yet still retains its traditional Andalusian charm and character.
Estepona enjoys a wonderful all year round climate with in excess of 300 sunny days every year. It is ideally located for day trips to a host of local destinations including Gibraltar, Puerto Banus, Ronda, Marbella, Malaga, Mijas and Selwo Adventure Park.
Estepona area
The apartment is just a 4 minute drive from Estepona Port with its fine array of restaurants and shops. The port is the start of a huge promenade that covers the whole bay of Estepona which is over a mile long.
El Cristo and La Rada beach's have the EU Blue Flag award and are spacious and sandy with a predominance of wooden watchtowers for lifeguards. There are promenade cafes and beach bars dotted along the expanse of the beach. From the Terrace of this apartment you will have the most fantastic views of Gibraltar and Africa to the west. "It is one of the few coastal towns that has succeeded in maintaining its pueblo charm and character. But all the tourist facilities are here, including hotels, restaurants, leisure and cultural activities, Markets and shops.
Numerous street cafes and tapas bars still serve traditional Spanish delicacies and the steep, cobbled, narrow streets seem more suited to horses than cars. You'll also find unusual shops and bodegas in Estepona, where you'd least expect them, all very inviting, very friendly - and very cheap!
Estepona Marina is situated at the west end of the seafront promenade. This is a very pleasant place for a stroll and there are some magnificent boats moored here. There are a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurants, open both midday and in the evening while younger revelers can enjoy the late night disco bars. There is a popular tourist market here on a Sunday morning.
The fishing port is to the west of the marina. You can watch the fishing boats land their catch. It is not possible to buy fish but you can watch the auction process (as long as you don't get in the way).

Estepona is a 15 min drive to Puerto Banus, 20 mins to Marbella and 35 mins to Gibraltar
How to get there
Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar. Malaga Airport is approimately 75 kilometres and Gibraltar just 30 Kilometres Bus from La Linea or Torremolinos Bus Stations. Monarch fly from both airports and easyjet from Malaga, other airplines also use Malaga Airport. Local buses run regularly between the airport and the town.There are always local taxis available too

Sheets and Bed linen, Towels and Tea Towels are included in the cost of your holiday. All Towels/Sheets & Bed Linen will be changed at the end of your stay. A welcome pack is also included in the cost of your holiday.
A 30% deposit is required with each booking. The remainder is required 4 weeks (four weeks) before your stay, earlier for longer stays. Bookings maybe cancelled up to 6 weeks (six weeks) prior to the booked holiday period with a full refund. After this time, a refund will only be given if a replacement booking is found.
A security deposit of 200.00 GBP will be required, which will be returned to you if everything is found in a satisfactory condition, after each stay.

We had a fab time in Estepona, except for the weather. The apartment was of a very high standard with lots of things that made it seem more than a holiday home. I have never stayed in such a clean holiday home and we have traveled far and wide in our time and always in 4 or 5 star accommodation. The welcome pack was a great idea. I would certainly recommend it to friends as well as revisiting myself. I can certainly understand why you bought it with those fantastic views, I feel very envious.
