This is a five star air conditioned apartment, no expense spared on furnishings and decorations, probably the most stunning pound for pound holiday home in the Marbella region, Hacienda del Sol is situated between the 5star exclusive Marriot and 5 star Crowne plaza, is a family friendly complex situated between Estepona and San Pedro, two traditional Spanish towns on the western Costa del Sol - an area often referred to as the New Golden Mile.
San Pedro de Alcantara is in an ideal situation, just 10 kilometres west from all the glitz and glamour of Marbella, yet just a few minutes drive away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona. An ancient farming community, once famous for sugar cane, today San Pedro is a refreshingly unspoilt pueblo with an appeal all of its own.
Be sure to head for the central plaza here with its gracious parish church and surrounding narrow streets which are packed with intriguing small shops, sidewalk cafes and bars. Thursday is market day with all the associated hustle and bustle; a veritable bargain shopper's paradise.
A pleasant walk from the centre of town to the beachfront along the Avenida del Marques del Duero which is a particularly attractive wide avenue flanked by palm trees. And the modern wide promenade is ideal for continuing your stroll (or skateboarding!) with several excellent chiringuitos (beachside restaurants) specialising in fish dishes. Visit Bora Bora if only for a drink at the bar. It is one of the best beach clubs on the coast, with a superb restaurant and all the usual beach facilities, a tropical paradise
The world famous Puerto Banus, luxurious and cosmopolitan, boasts chic boutiques, designer shops, an attractive marina which is surrounded by cafes from where you can sit and watch the world go by. A must place to visit!
The traditional mountain pueblos of Casares, Istan and Ojen are also close by - and completely different to the cosmopolitan districts of Marbella.
The apartment is close to a vast range of restaurants ranging from beach cafes to those offering international cuisines.
The beach with its stylish chiringuito is within a short 1- 2 minute walk from the apartment where I recommend trying its cool drinks or superb cuisine, alternatively jump in the car to visit one of the other spectacular beach clubs such as Mistral Beach, Puro Beach or Ocean Club. There are also blue flag standard public beaches nearby in San Pedro and Estepona.
Benamara has a range of good restaurants, shops, banks, chemists. The local area is also renowned for its great golf courses and many are within in a ten minute drive. Full details can be given on request.
Selwo Wildlife and Adventure Park is open daily and is a ten minute drive. Seven kilometres away is Benhavis, a hidden gem, a picturesques place with incredible mountain and sea views. Benhavis village is known as the 'dining room' of the Costa del Sol owing to the large number of restaurants of every nationality that flourish here. A gastronomic festival is usually held in June, and a village fair in mid August.
Estepona's lively marina is a great place to stroll around to admire the boats, or sit in the bar/cafes and watch the world go by. There is a craft market every Sunday morning. The old town has cobbled streets where you will find a good range of shops, street cafes, and tapas bars. El Cristo beach is near the marina and ideal for children as it is sitauted in a delightful shetlered cove with lots of water sports nearby.
Marbella town, home to the rich and famous, has a lovely shopping and historic area centred on Orange square, where you will find excellent pavement cafes, and designer shops. Marbella has a great beach. with an excellent choice of cafes and restaurants.

The Apartment is ground floor, wheelchair pushchair access has two stylish bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
The stunning main living room has a TV, DVD Player,and music system. There is a really comfortable corner suite and a large modern dining table holding up to 6 people with plenty of room to spare.
Adjoining the large living room is a spacious balcony overlooking one of the main & childrens swimming pools. The balcony has a 6 seater quality furniture set with mood lighting and candle displays so you can enjoy mealtimes in the sun or at night.
There is a large modern fully fitted kitchen which comprises a fridge/freezer, oven, hob, extracter fan, also a washing machine, microwave, and breakfast bar.
The Master bedroom accommodates a double bed and plenty storage space, with outside shutters to make the room pitch black even during the day which leads to the main bathroom having a separate bath and large separate shower area, toilet, bidet and large modern wash basin. The powerful shower will make anyone feel refreshed and looking forward to the day ahead.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, which can be pushed together to make 1 double if needed, and also has lots of cupboard space. This room also has the outside shutters to keep the room very, very dark making it easier for any child to get to sleep easier. The second bedroom leads to the 2nd bathroom which comprises a bath/shower, large wash basin, toliet and bidet.
The apartment is fully air conditioned, and has Wifi, for your internet connection...
The bedlinen is all washed and ironed professionally, and the friendly and efficient management team are able to leave arrival packs with essentials e.g milk,bread,juice, for a small supplement....just let me know if you need this and I will contact them.

The Hacienda Del Sols gardens are kept immaculate by the garden maintenance team, day or night the grounds are a pleasure to walk around.
The main security gate, is manned 24 hours a day.
It is a gorgeous complex, a pleasure to wander round.
There is a extra large jacuzzi for approx 50 people, next to the gym and paddle tennis courts.
At the end of the walkway, at the beach, there is a childrens play area.

We are flexible for the first day of renting to begin.
If in the event we have guests arriving and departing on the same day, as we need the apartment to be cleaned, the departure time is 10.30 am on the last day, and the arrivals will be able to access the apartment from 2pm.

There is No smoking and no animals are allowed in the Apartment.
Conditions
Due to daily flights to Malaga Airport the Apartment can be booked for any period of time, arriving and departing on days that suit yourselves.
Upon arrival your apartment will have been fully cleaned and supplied with fresh bedlinen and fresh towels.
Please note that a travel cot with a superior matress and a pushchair are available at no extra.
