Casa Montaña is a privately owned villa in the hills of Valle Romano on the southwest side of Estepona. It's a rustic villa with a modern and warm ambiance in which you can have the perfect relaxing (family) holiday at your pool side or at one of the nice beaches (5 min. drive) or an active golfers holiday. Numerous golfcourses are available, eight are less than 30 car minutes away. The newest one is right on the corner and is Valle Romano Golf.
This charming house features a large living area with satellite TV (Astra) and DVD player, large kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and oven and separate guest toilet. Balcony with lovely views into the valley; private swimming pool (9x4m, deep 1,50 - 2,75m) with outside toilet. Large terrace with BBQ and pool bar with fridge.
Malaga airport: 50 minutes.Puerto Banus: 25 minutes. Marbella: 40 minutes.

Warm ambiance and very comfortable. Because the house has two floors with different terraces, ideally for family holidays with grandparents, parents and children or for two families. The villa has three bedrooms and a large cloak / dressingroom with small double bed (suitable for children) attached to the bathroom.

Swimming pool only available April till October.
Bookings through a non-refundable deposit of € 250 per booked week . 8 weeks before arrival 50% has to be paid, 4 weeks before arrival 100% has to be paid incl. the breakage deposit of (€ 350). Linen & towels (no beach towels) are provided. Price includes final cleaning. Change of towels and linen after 7 days. Changing day is preferable Saturday, other days on request. Check out 10 am. Check-in after 3 pm. But these times are negotiable.
There is a new golf course with apartments being built in the vacinity of this property ... on the far side of the valley (1 km). The work is not intrusive and privacy is not compromised, the pool & garden areas are completely private & not overlooked ... but as this work can be seen from the upper terrace we have reduced the price with a 10% discount.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa del Sol is the most developed area of Andalucia. Still a short drive from the Estepona coast and you'll find beautiful small white villages, like Casares, Castillo de Castellar or Jimena de la Frontera. Cities rich in history like Ronda, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera and Malaga (with the Picasso Museum) are all visitable in one day. If you like to see the Atlantic Ocean, a day trip to playa Valdevaqueros in Tarifa is a good option. It is the most popular wind- and kitesurfing location. Huge sand dunes, sheltered lagoon, trendy beach bars and windsurf hire. But don't forget to stroll through the small streets of the old town of Tarifa with its Tapas bars and restaurants.
The Estepona / Valle Romano area
Estepona is one of the few coastal towns that has succeeded in maintaining its pueblo charm and character, despite the onslaught of tourism. Notwithstanding, all the tourist facilities are here, including hotels, restaurants, leisure and cultural activities, and shops.
The numerous street cafes and tapas bars still serve traditional Spanish delicacies and the steep, cobbled, narrow streets seem more suited to horses than cars. You'll also find unusual shops and bodegas in Estepona, where you'd least expect them, all very inviting, very friendly - and never expensive.
There is a large choice in beaches. Very near to Valle Romano and just outside Estepona, El Cristo beach is situated in a delightful sheltered cove, ideal for children, with two new chiringuitos. It's ideal location means longer hours of sunshine, making it a particular favourite for serious sunbathers. This beach has become increasingly popular in recent years and tends to get quite crowded on summer weekends. It has a good atmosphere with music playing at two of the beach bars.
Quieter beaches can be found a few km to the east or west of the town or in the direction of Casares / Sabanillas.
Just at the bottom of Valle Romano you 'll find The Costa Natura.
Spain's first purpose built naturist complex is located to the east of the town at km 151. The beach here is, of course, open to the public and is officially classified 'naturist'.
Right in the centre of Estepona you'll find the towns most popular beach, La Rada Beach. It is quite expansive and backed by a modern sea front promenade for the entire length (2.6km). Chiringuitos (beach bars), are located throughout the seafront and serve traditional fare, such as paella and fresh sardines, or a choice of international-style dishes. The Marina is located at the west end of La Rada beach.
The Estepona Marina is situated at the west end of the seafront promenade. This is a very pleasant place for a stroll and there are some magnificent boats moored here. There are also a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurants, open both midday and in the evening while younger revelers can enjoy the late night disco bars. There is a popular tourist market here on a Sunday morning.

From Malaga airport follow the signs Cadiz and Algeciras (A7 / n-340). After 10 minutes there is a possibility to take the toll road AP-7 or stay on the old n-340/a-7, coastroad. Keep following direction Cadiz / Algeciras and passing Marbella and San Pedro. After 40 minutes you see Estepona. Pass it and take exit 153 (Cadiz Estepona), Don't take the toll road here (AP-7). Leave the highway go up and follow Cadiz (white sign) on the roundabout (third to the right). Go down again and see after 1 minute next big roundabout (with big letters Estepona). Go straight. After 50 m firts exit to the right is urbanization Valle Romano. Go straight up to the top until you see a roundabout with tall palmtrees. Go to the left, this is Calle Peru, after 200 m when the road goes down there is the villa, Casa Montana 115.

Changeover day in Peak season preferable on Saturday, other days on request, most of the time no problem.
In the rental price everything is included, (weekly cleaning and change of linnen and normal final cleaning).
There is a € 350 breakage deposit to be paid, one week before arrival. This will be returned within two weeks after departure when there is no damage or need of excesive cleaning
