Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. a cot and baby chair are available if you need them. It is air-conditioned and has satellite TV, a viewing terrace and a spiral staircase, which leads to a large sun terrace. This beautiful and well located apartment has stunning views of the Mediterranean in part due to its elevated position.
Whilst this may be in common with other holiday accommodation on the Costa del Sol, the added bonus of being able to see both Gibraltar and Africa on the other side of the Straits is not. Overlooking the picturesque port of Estepona only a few hundred metres away, the apartment has the benefit of an elevator and as the only apartment on the floor, provides extra privacy. It has 3 bedrooms but when sleeping only 4 guests, an interconnecting door between bedrooms 2 and 3 can be opened to provide a more spacious, hotel suite feel.

The well furnished, comfortable lounge comprises a sofa, armchairs and sofa bed specially chosen for its size and comfort as a sofa or bed. A 6 seat dining table, satellite TV and internet, CD player with Ipod dock andDVD player are included.The kitchen has views westwards and is equipped with fittings of good quality, a cooker, hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a full range of cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery.
A washing machine, ironing board and iron can be found in the utility room. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and an en-suite, fully equipped bathroom. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and an ensuite shower room. The 3rd bedroom has a double bed and is connected to bedroom 2 by a sliding door; good if you have small children, and allowing extra space if only two bedrooms are being used. A cot is available on request. All towels and bed linen are provided, including towels for beach use.

Accessed from the lounge or kitchen is a large balcony with comfortable seating and great views over picturesque rooftops to the sea and Gibraltar. It's a great place to enjoy the sunsets, perhaps with a glass of wine or two. Leading from here, the spiral staircase brings you to the even bigger, upper deck sun terrace with seating and loungers, large enough to hold a party or else sunbathe in solitude. There are almost 360 degree views from this terrace. To the east the terrace overlooks the bullring, the town and beautiful sunrises, and southwards the harbour and the Mediterranean.
The African coast and Gibraltar can also be seen and turning towards the north, the nearby hills. There is a large residents swimming pool in the grounds. Shops and supermarkets are within a few minutes walk, as well as a wide variety of nice restaurants, cafes and tapas bars. Many of these also have free wifi internet access. Pubs, clubs and bars are within easy walking distance too.
A deposit of 100 euros per complete week is requested in order to confirm your dates. The remainder is paid upon arrival to the agent who will greet you, give you the keys and show you round, but other arrangements for payment can be made if required. A 10% discount is currently being offered rising to 20% for rentals of three weeks or more.
Obviously we would not want guests to smoke in the apartment. Guests following on would notice, but there are smoking areas outside; ie the balcony and the roof terrace. A small, well-trained pet may be acceptable. Please ask when making your booking.

The Costa del Sol region
Estepona enjoys a typical Mediterranean weather, with warm temperatures most of the year. In winter the temperature is not often lower than 10º and in summer it can rise up to 40ºC. Westwards, Gibraltar is only half an hour by car, if you don't keep stopping en route for photo shoots of the incredible views of the looming Rock. Cadiz and Seville are able to be visited on a day trip with a drive of an hour or two.To the east, Marbella, Malaga and the historic city of Granada are 20 minutes, an hour and 2 hours away respectively. Near Granada is the Sierra Nevada mountain range for winter skiing. Again these are possible to visit on a day's outing. Horse riding and golfing are only a short drive away, as are the larger supermarkets.
The hiring of boats, scuba diving and other water sports can be arranged within the harbour. There are scenic drives that can be taken into the hills, which Estepona is close to and pretty villages can be explored along the coast. Gibraltar is easy to reach, has a rich history, makes a great day trip and has duty free petrol! Just on the other side of Gibraltar lies the ferry to Tangiers, which also can be visited on a day trip. Tickets for the ferry and guided tours can be picked up at various petrol stations on the way to the ship. Another ferry sails across the Straits to the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on the North African coast. On Estepona's outskirts there is a large safari park and water theme parks lie between Estepona and Malaga.
The apartment is only a few hundred metres from the pretty harbour which is also a small fishing port. On either side of the harbour and about a 10 minute walk from the apartment are the beaches, to the west Del Cristo is small and sheltered, while to the east El Rada is much bigger, more open and with a greater variety of facilities. This beach is close to Estepona town centre. Estepona is served by two international airports and is a half hour's drive from Gibraltar, which is the nearest.
Malaga airport is also within easy driving distance of about one hour. Road connections are good and are dual carriageways, though there is a smaller, very scenic coastal route. There is a bus service between Malaga and Estepona and beaches, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. If you have a car, there is also secure parking at the apartment. There are 5, possibly more golf courses in the immediate area, the two nearest being roughly equidistant from the apartment, to the east and west, less than 6km away. These are called Estepona Golf and Golf El Paraiso. The others are slightly further away, on the Marbella road, giving a big choice of courses you can play during your holiday. Hopefully you'll have time enough to find a favourite! Market days are Sunday and Wednesday, all year round. Festivals are held in Estepona and surrounding towns, through the year.
The apartment is close to all amenities and the beaches and a car is not necessary to reach them.

We have just spent 10 days in this lovely appartment. It is equiped and furnished to an extremely high standard and immaculately clean. I am loath to offer any criticism but I must point out that the stairs to the roof terrace are a bit of a challenge and no where in the discription is it mentioned that the building is located half way up a very steep hill. Having said that I would not want to put anyone off from staying here as it has to be one of the best holiday homes we have ever rented, fantasticly located for all local ammenities, we really only needed a hire car to get to and from the airport. Everything you could ever need is provided in this appartment it is a real home from home, we had a very relaxing holiday which is just what we needed. Estepona is lovely and we had fantastic weather. Thank you to Michael and Gill and to Dawn for the lovely welcome
