Apart from golf there is also lawn bowls a short walk from the apartment as well as supermarkets and buses to other towns along the coast.
Other golf clubs in the area are Atalaya Park, Guadalmina and Estepona with Valderama approximately 20 miles away.
There is a wide variety of restaurants offering anything from English breakfast, Indian, Chinese to local Spanish specialities and an excellent steak restaurant.

The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol enjoys a temperate climate and is mostly sunny all year round. The area has many places of interest and history. The white villages built in Andalucian style are certainly worth a visit. Ronda is a charming historic town about 45 minutes from the coast. Gibraltar is steeped in History and now only takes 30 - 40 minutes drive.
You can also easily pay a visit to Seville, Cadiz or Granada, about 2 - 3 hours drive or make an overnight stay. There is a train running between Algeciras and Ronda giving breathtaking views of the mountains. There are several great places to stop for lunch including Benaojan. Malaga is a good day out and great for shopping or visiting museums including the Picasso. For animal lovers Selwo safari Park is a 10 minute drive away.
The Estepona / Benavista area
Patio Alcornocal and Benavista offer a really great holiday destination. Its mature gardens and close by beaches still hold great charm. There are several excellent beach bars within walking distance and the newly re- opened Paraiso Country Club offers excellent swimming and restaurant facilities.
Benavista has many buzzing bars or quieter places depending on your taste, with such a variety available. There are several markets in the area, Estepona Port on a Sunday morning or the local Estepona market on a Wednesday morning or San Pedro on a Thursday morning and the well known rastro in Puerto Banus on a Saturday morning.
If you feel like seeing how the "other half" live, visit Puerto Banus port with its huge yachts and fabulous restaurants and night life.

Budget airlines operate to Malaga daily from all European destinations.
We can arrange to collect you for a reasonable price - please ask at time of booking.
If you prefer there is a direct bus from Malaga Airport to Marbella Bus station where you can take another local bus or taxi to the apartment.
Airlines also fly into Gibraltar from many UK destinations where there is a local bus from La Linea bus station (ten minute walk from the Gibraltar Airport) and then a local bus to the apartment.
