The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances you would expect. There are two bedrooms, a double room and twin room. Each room is fully furnished and has ample storage space as well as its own bathroom.
The very spacious lounge/dining room area, with double patio doors opening out to the large private garden is equipped with Satellite TV (All the most popular UK Channels. BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc), DVD player and a CD player with radio for your entertainment.
WiFi Internet Access.
For those of you who like to keep in touch with Cyber Space, there is access to a secure password protected "WiFi" hotspot in the apartment. There is also access to a secure “Wi-Fi Hotspot” which is available at the Albayt Club House and is free to guests using the facilities (eg Restaurant, Coffee Bar, Gym, Spa etc).
The property is secured with door and window shutters and an alarm system. There is also 24 hour on site security and the Security Guards regularly patrol the entire site and underground parking areas.
For your car there is a designated space in the secure underground car park beneath the apartment.

The development has several outdoor pools. The split level pool with a bar "Chiringuito" is located beside the apartment (about 30 meters).
To the rear of the apartment there is a good sized private garden (6X10 meters or approx. 20X35 feet) with terrace. Sun loungers are provided together with a table and chairs for "al fresco" dining on the warm balmy nights, as you take in the beautiful view of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains National Park and surrounding unspoilt countryside.
A safe children's play area is also provided close by with swings and slides etc.

Very important - insurance:
All clients are required to have adequate holiday insurance cover for the entire rental period. This you will need to arrange yourselves through a reputable Insurance Company. This is required to cover guests for cancellation (Note: Cancellation less than 4 weeks before your holiday is due to commence will result in loss of total amount paid including Security deposit) or illness and for accidents or injuries that may occur whilst staying in the apartment.

The Costa del Sol region


Over the last few decades, the Costa del Sol has become one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. Its pleasant climate, numerous beaches and Golf courses have certainly influenced this. There are countless places to visit and things to do which make it one of the most successful tourist areas.
Its capital, Malaga, and the city of Marbella are both cosmopolitan cities with great nightlife as well as cultural significance and attract the most tourists. It is a vast area with many different faces from the touristy beach towns like Marbella to the more traditional white washed villages of Mijas.
Costa del Sol doesn’t just possess a good climate but it also has diversity. It is no wonder it is so popular with holiday makers, both young and old.
The Estepona / Albayt Costa Galera Country Club area
The property is situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only about 5 minutes away by car. Cosmopolition Marbella (great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (great for people watching) are only 15/20 minutes away.
There are several attractions close by to interest the whole family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out as is the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are also two Water Parks close by, one in Mijas Costa and the other in Torremolinos.
A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, (but don't forget your passport) where you can take a tour of "The Rock" and have close contact with the Apes. For the more adventurous, you can also take a day trip to Morocco on the fast Ferry from Algercias. Also in the area are several beautiful villages, towns and cites. These include Casares , Ronda, Mijas, Selville and Granada to name but a few.
If you prefer to stay close to the Country Club you can indulge yourself (at a very resonable weekly membership fee of 85 Euro) in the indoor heated Swimming Pool, Turkish bath, Sauna and various Treatment Showers with hot and cold jets and essential oils. Hydraulic beds for massage, Jacuzzi, Massage rooms and all the usual Beauty treatments etc. are also provided. Some of these services will cost extra, eg massages and beauty treatments.
Outside the Club House there is another pool. A 3 hole practice golf facility with putting area and a covered driving range is available to all guests. Paddle tennis courts are also available, adjacent to the Club House.. A resident pro manages the golf shop in the Country Club.
If you prefer to swim in the sea, the beautiful beaches of Estepona, Duquesa, Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella are only a few minutes away by car. There is also a natural beach opposite the entrance to the Costa Galera development (about 250 meters from the apartment) which is accessible on foot by crossing the N340 roadway
The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf, with good reason. There are at least 40 courses along the coastline. Closest to the Apartment are Estepona and Duquesa, both within a 5 minute drive and reasonably priced. The famous Valderrama course is only 15 minutes away as is San Roque, Marbella, Atalaya, El Paraiso and Sontogrande. A Handicap Certificate is required by most Golf Clubs.
The lively resorts of Fuengirola and Torrelmolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. Malaga airport is only a 50 minute drive. Other airports include Gibraltar (30 minutes) and Jerez (75 minutes).
The beautiful whitewashed village of Caseras is a 15 minute drive and the ancient town of Ronda, with it's breathtaking views a futher 45 minutes.
About Estepona.
Estepona is one of the most westerly towns of the Costa del Sol and one of the most important tourist towns. It is situated right on the coast, 81km from Malaga, between Marbella and Manilva. It has excellent facilities, from restaurants and bars to fantastic beaches. The area is laden with activities to keep visitors busy and the area around is bursting of fascinating sites and places to see.
There certainly is something for everyone here. Within Estepona you can find a traditional old style Andalusian Pueblo. But you’ll also find a thoroughly modern holiday destination. Here is a town that maintains its rustic charm whilst still providing a holiday haven. Estepona is definitely an exceptional and unique place.

You can Fly directly to Malaga or Gibraltar Airports. These Airports are served by Ryanair, Easyjet, BA, Monarch,Globespan, BMIbaby, Flybe from a variety of UK, Irish and other European airports.
Malaga airport is only a 50 minute drive from the Apartment on excellent roads, the Autopista (AP7) and the N340 Coast road .
Gibraltar Airport is a 30 minute drive once cleared through Spanish Customs (which can sometimes be slow).
Flying to Jerez from Stansted with Ryanair can at times be very inexpensive although it does mean a longer drive to the apartment (about 90 minutes).

Tom's instructions for finding the apartment were spot on and we were pleasantly surprised to find the interior living area quite a bit bigger than I had expected based on the photos. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We found the beds comfortable with masses of storage in the bedrooms. The garden was a lovely bonus and we used the sunbeds in them on a daily basis. The pool was metres away from the apartment and was lovel. Pity the poolside bar wasn't open when we were there! You can't easily walk to the beach due to the busy coast road and the beach is a bit stoney there too, however we drove to two different beaches in Estepona about 5-10 minutes drive away which were lovely. The Sunday market in Estepona is worth a visit. Tom always responded instantly whenever I texted him which was very reasuring when we needed his help. I would definately go again! |

We had a wonderful time in this holiday apartment. A lovely complex set in a lovely area. Easy short drive to Estepona with shops and restaurants.
The apartment itself was very clean with everything you could need. It was ideally situated next to the split level pool and my husband, myself and two teenage children loved it there. It was a home from home and very comfortable for a family of 4.
The large supermarket a two minute drive away was really handy for general groceries with gorgeous and very cheap seafood if you feel like a relaxing night in at the apartment.
We had an evening in nearby Puerto Banus and went shopping in Marbella which was great. Old Marbella was lovely for a stroll and lunch in Orange Square.
We also ate on Estepona Marina in the chinese which was excellent but our best meals were the road back from the main road of Estepona where the local restaurants were very reasonably priced.
I found Tom (the owner) particularly helpful before our stay always happy to give good advise on the apartment and area.
We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend our british winter months as we were there late October and the weather was beautiful but the resort and Spain in general was so peaceful and not the usual crowds of the summer months.
Whilst there we visited Ronda, Mijas and Caserras which are all beautiful and unspoilt spanish villages. Mijas is the most touristy and good for an evening.
The Sunday morning market at Estepona Marina was lively with lots of nice very reasonable jewellery, clothes, etc.
Laguna Beach was a lovely place to visit with its stunning location and views, lovely restaurants, designer shops. Alternatively, if you just fancy a coffee laid on a sun lounger or comfy sofas with incredible sea views, its worth a visit.
All in all we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again.
Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Couples of all ages, Romantic Getaway.
Fantastic Family Holiday in Albayt Resort Estepona

The apartment was excellent - even though we spent very little time there, it was a great base for our various excursions to Benalmedina, Gibraltar, Ronda & Estepona. Our in-laws were just down
the road behind the Bahia Dorada complex for our first week in their own villa, so much of our time was spent there.
The information provided by Tom (the owner) was excellent & went a long way towards making our stay a very pleasant one. We had very few dealings with the staff of the resort, but they were generally excellent - the English guy on reception in particular.
There were a few minor niggles during our stay (e.g. the kettle blew a fuse and had to be replaced) but Tom was in constant contact with us by 'phone and e-mail to ensure that any issues were quickly resolved to our complete satisfaction.
Tom was also very proactive in seeking feedback from us after we returned home to see if we had any suggestions as to how the holiday experience we had could be improved.
All in all the Tom deserves credit for making all stages of the holiday go so smoothly. We would have no hesitation in returning to the apartment and would recommend it to our friends and relatives.

"Great location, quiet resort for Easter break

Our family of 3 enjoyed our stay at this spacious apartment. The garden areas were well kept and the resort at Easter was blissfully quiet. We enjoyed Selwo - the animals are, mainly, in safari type conditions and are visited on foot or via jeeps - a great experience. Although pricey, if you buy a 3 ticket option ( for selwo animals park, selwo marina and the cable cars to the birds of prey) it works out at around 11 euros each for each attraction - and selwo is a day in itself! Cable car takes 15 mins to the birds of prey ( in Benalmadena, as is the Selwo marina) and is not for those with a fear of heights!
Didn't have time for the beaches! Loved Mijas and Nerja caves ( the best we have been into!). OK, Nerja is 2 hours away by car, but on fast, good roads a great day out, esp as you can stop on your return to walk the castle at Fuengirola and shop at the many malls!
Gibralter is great for tax free shopping ( fill up with fuel there - 84p a litre!) and the apes are amusing and cheeky!
Great shopping, also, at La Canada Mall and great pizza and meatballs at La Laguna mall on the beach in Estepona You pass it on the A7 and it is 10 mins from the apartment.
Having a garage for our car was a bonus and wifi acces at the hotel reception. Freesat TV good, too, for the odd dull day.
There was adequate comfy seating in the apartment and the large kitchen area was equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher, microwave and large fridge/freezer. Mercadona supermarket, good and in expensive, was 5 mins drive away, Estepona direction.
We drove down, and so visited the wolf park in the mountains near Ronda. Great drive with breathtaking scenery and some of the greenest fields i have ever seen.
All in all, a good holiday.

The appartement itsself was really great. The view at the mountain in the north also. The beaches in Estepona are really nice! Gibraltar was very pleasant, also Malaga!

General Information on Short Term Rentals:
Net rate per apartment per day (per week) based on accommodation only for up to 4 Adults and 1 infants (sleeping in a cot).
All prices quoted include VAT.
Minimum stay required:
High season: 1 Week
Mid & Low season: 5 nights
Cleaning Service Included: The apartment is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and immediately after your departure. Additional cleaning is charged at 15 Euro/hr.
Laundry service every 7 days, based on 4 guests, is included (A small extra charge of £7.50 per day for bed linen and towels applies for a fifth person if the fold-up bed is required).
Extra Cot: £2,00 per day.
Standard Booking Conditions:
A deposit of 25% (non-refundable) of the total rental amount is required in order for a booking to be confirmed. Payment of the booking deposit constitutes acceptance of these booking terms.
The balance, plus a refundable security/breakages deposit of 150 GBP, is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.
For bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, payment of the full amount is required at time of reservation.
Safety: The property has a a number of private pools, childrens play areas, tennis courts, a driving range and a 3 hole practice golf course.
Due care must be exercised when using these facilities. The owners and their agents cannot accept responsibility for any mishaps whatsoever and howsoever caused as a result of use of the pools, other facilities and the surrounding area.
Amendments to Booking:. If you decide to change the details of the booking at a later date we will do our very best to make the changes requested.
Please Note:
All prices quoted are for the Apartment per week and include all taxes, bedlinen/towels for up to 4 Adults, electricity and water.
All of the facilities of the Country Club, many of which are free, are available to guests for the duration of their stay. Optional Temporary Membership is also available. This entitles you to discounts in the Restaurant and on the use of many of the chargeable services and facilities available in the Country Club, such as the Spa and Treatment Areas.
Bookings of 3 to 4 weeks qualify for a 10% discount.
Very attractive long stay discounts (one month or more) 15 to 20%, are also available.
