The Costa del Sol region
Marbella's "micro-climate" enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate all year round with bright sunny days for most of the year. The combination of the mountainous peaks of the Sierra Blanca terrain together with the coastline ensures a mild winter with an average maximum temperature of 22.8 degrees C and a minimum of 13 degrees C. Summers are dry and hot and can reach temperatures that go well into the 30's. Fortunately due to low humidity, the heat is comfortable and not sticky or overbearing.
The Estepona / Estepona Puerto/Marina area
The main attraction not to be missed are Funny Beach, Fuengirola Zoo, Selwo Safari Park, Selwo Marina, Mijas and Torremolinos Aquaparks and Tivoli World Amusement Park. Gibraltar is 45 minutes by car, Malaga 1 hour, Ronda 60 minutes and Mijas 45 minutes.
