This new fully furnished and equipped 2 bed/2 bath apartment in Northern Cyprus is on the first floor and has stunning views of the large shared pool and Mediterranean from the spacious front balcony. Set in a rural location on a small complex of 23 apartments and villas, the apartment is approximately 5 miles from the village of Esentepe, just off the new coast road from Kyrenia to Tatlisu.
There are several restaurants and bars within a short drive, and the nearest supermarket and butchers are in Esentepe village. The coast road takes you to the beautiful town of Kyrenia with its ancient harbour, castle and its many bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
This is the perfect apartment to have a relaxing break, enjoy unspoilt surroundings, good food and amazing sunsets!

The Kyrenia District
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has one of the best climates in the Mediterranean, with very mild winters and hot summers. Spring (March/April/May) is particularly beautiful with an abundance of wild flowers. Autumn, when the sea is at its warmest, is also a good time to visit if you enjoy sightseeing. There are less crowds, and the temperatures are more comfortable.
Northern Cyprus has a very interesting history, being occupied in the middle ages by Richard the Lionheart, and the crusader knights. The harbour fortress in Kyrenia is well worth a visit, as are the spectacular St Hilarion Castle and Abbey at Bellapais.
The coastal plain is dotted with very picturesque villages and towns and never feels crowded, you are sure to find a deserted sandy cove in which to have a relaxing picnic. Looking inland, there are the Besparmark mountains where you can take guided nature walks.
Esentepe / Forest Golf and Beach Resort area
There is an 18 hole pay and play championship golf course with leisure complex and driving range is 10 minutes drive away is now open and is trully superb. Across the road from the resort is the local fishing harbour, where you can fish from the pier or hire a boat for the day.
Acapulco Beach Club is about 15 minutes drive away, where for a £6 entrance fee you can use the facilities, which include water sports, aqua park, tennis and many other attractions. There is also a casino and other entertainment facilities. Vogue beach resort with its unique open-air nightclub and 5* restaurant is within 15 mins drive.
Turtle bay (Alagadi) is a short drive away, this is a protected area as loggerhead and green turtles use it to lay their eggs. There is a visitor centre which operates from 6pm onwards when you can go on turtle watching tours. The nesting season is between May to October.

- Fly to Ercan (Northern Cyprus) - Esentepe is 40 minutes (approx) from airport. - Fly to Larnaca (Southern Cyprus) - Esentepe is 90 minutes (approx) from airport. - Cheap flights from www.flymonarch.co.uk, www.cheapflights.co.uk, www.opodo.co.uk and www.skyscanner.net - Car hire and transfers from www.birdrentacar.com (Car hire from £14 per day and they drive on the left!!). You can be transfered straight to the apartment where the hire-car will be waiting!

Further details indoors: The interior is tastefully furnished and decorated in neutral tones with air-conditioning/heating in the living area and bedrooms. All power sockets are UK compatible. There is an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom. The main living area has a double sofa-bed, so the apartment could therefore sleep 6 people but more comfortably 4. Rates negotiable. A cot and high-chair are provided at the property.
Further details outdoors: The apartment benefits from a beautiful shared pool and landscaped gardens. The balcony enables you to enjoy al-fresco dining, and gives amazing views of the coast and pool. There are a number of steps around the complex due to its landscaped hillside setting.

A 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, The balance plus a £100 breakages deposit is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. The £100 refundable breakages deposit will be returned within 14 days of vacating the apartment subject to deductions for losses/damage. Long term winter rentals will be considered, terms to be discussed.
Christmas and New Year weeks are subject to a further £50 charge.
