About the home

This beautifully appointed 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is located on the brand new Turtle Bay Village development just 30 minutes drive from the quaint harbour town of Kyrenia.

The accommodation consists of a master bedroom with en-suite, 2 further double bedrooms (all with large built-in wardrobes) and an open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area providing ample living space with access to the sun terrace for out-door dining and sunbathing.

The terrace enjoys beautiful views over the sea and mountains.

A full set of golf clubs is available to those wishing to use the Korenium Championship Golf Course just 500M from the apartment complex.

The apartment also contains:

There is a bar/restaurant within walking distance. Racquets and balls for use on the tennis/basketball courts, football pitch and table tennis area are provided in the apartment. A championship golf course is nearby.

The Kyrenia region

Kyrenia and the surrounding area has many places of interest.
* Bellapais Abbey, steeped in history and with stunning views, is a 10 minute drive from the apartment
* Kyrenia harbour has waterside restaurants and bars and a wide range of shops. The castle is also well
worth a visit
* St Hilarion castle has breathtaking views across Kyrenia bay.
* Activities such as paragliding, scuba diving, boat trips, fishing, horse riding are all available locally.

Between July and October you can watch the rare loggerhead turtles hatching on Alagadi beach. Or visit the local dog sanctuary and take one of the rescue dogs for a walk in the mountains.

The North side of the island is completely unspoilt and has stunning beaches.

The Esentepe, Kyrenia / Turtle Bay Village area

Esentepe Village is only 5 mintues away with shops, bars and restaurants.

There is an 18 hole pay and play championship golf course with leisure complex and driving range 5 minutes from the apartment. Acapulco Beach Club is about 15 minutes drive away, where for a £6 entrance fee you can use facilities including water sports, aqua park, tennis and many other attractions.

There is also a casino and other entertainment facilities. Vogue beach resort with its unique open-air nightclub and 5* restaurant is also in the local area.

Most UK airports offer flights into Ercan which is only 26km to Turtle Bay Village. Budget airlines also fly into Larnaca in the south of the island. From Larnaca you can get an airport transfer for approximately £45 from one of the local hire car companies such as Bird Rentacar. It takes just 90mins from airport terminal to apartment.

From Ercan you can either pick up a hire car directly from the airport or get a free airport transfer from one of the car hire companies and have your car delivered to the apartment. At the time of writing, Bellapis Rentacar was just one of the many local companies offering this service.

We stayed for a week in Oct 2008 and we can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we have had. Northern Cyprus is beautiful, the people friendly and food superb. The accommodation itself was clean, modern and very homely. We loved the fact that you can plug your ipod in and play DVDs in the evening. I would recommend this apartment whole heartedly.

The apartment was great and really did have everything. The children were happy to be near to the playground and swimming pool and played a lot on the grass area outside of the apartment. The complex is nice and we visited the shop and bar and the residents we met were friendly. We would all be very happy to go back again.
