Opposite the golf course, walking distance to the beach, what more could you want? The villa is 10 minutes drive from the pictureque town of Kyrenia, with its ancient harbour and castle. Bars and restaurants are dotted along the route, provide local food and drink, with the laid back atmosphere.

The famous Turtle Beach nearby, Bellapis Abbey in the hills, and buffavento castle, all a short drive away. The nearby village of Esentepe, is like entering the old Cyprus, rustic, friendly with the local people providing bars and restaurants serving good quality fare. Everything here is warm and welcoming.

The Kyrenia District

Kyrenia district is like going back in time, when things were friendly and open. Bustling and busy the town itself has shops, bars and a beautful harbour lined with restaurants and boats, which can be taken out for trips run by local operators. At the head of the harbour is Kyrenia Castle, open to the public.

A short drive takes you to either beaches, golf and marina, or into the mountains to explore Buffavento castle, and Bellapais Abbey. About an hours drive takes you to Nicosia or Famagusta. Both major towns. The climate is warm and sunny, with temperatures around 25 degrees from April to about 38 degrees into July and August .

If you are looking for clubs, nightlife, tourists, and fish and chips......forget it! Esentepe is rustic Cyprus at its best. Dusty roads, small local bars, serving excellent food and local drinks. Friendly people, and time to explore at your leisure.

The new championship Golf Course, just opposite the viila has a top class restaurant and luxurious bars, all open to the public and non members. It operates short one off membership for holiday makers. The villa is 2 minutes walk from the beach at the end of the road (pebble/rock), where you can swim or fish. Or just down the road you can find the Accapulco sandy beach and leisure facilities.

How to get there

Flights can go direct to Larnaca, where pick up, and drop off can be arranged. Car hire arranged through us, will leave a car at the villa for you. Transfer takes about 1 hour to door. Other flights to Ercan again pick up and drop off arranged. Transfer from Ercan to villa about 40 minutes New budget airlines operating from March 09 is Monarch. Thompson fly, Thomas Cook, Anatolian Sky, Cyprus Airways, KTHY all fly.

The villa is newly decorated and furninshed. We wanted a house that we could relax in, not overlooked, not enclosed on a site or complex, but having nearby facilities. We found that in this villa. Its bright, sunny and private. With its own crystal clear pool, large patio and vast garden, all enclosed by fencing and walling. Views of mountains and sea, not blocks of flats and hotels! The championship golf club is a short walk away with luxury bars and restaurants, and excellent facilities for the golfers. Esentepe village is nearby, with its "back in time" quality. Kyrenia is a short drive away with historic castle, cobbled streets, harbourside bars and restaurants. So much to be explored..

Further details outdoors:
The villa is near to Turtle Beach, and the championship Korinium Golf club,is afew minutes WALK away. With a short 10 mins drive to town, you can enter the old Kyrenia, with its harbour and castle. Dotted along the main road are individual bars and restaurants, serving fresh local produce. The villa is on a private road, a select development of just 20 detached, private villas. At the end of the road is a small private sandy beach, with a stone built barbeque and a few umberellas. A more discerning holiday. We will arrange your collection at the airport of your choice, and have a hire car waiting at the villa for you. All of this arranged before you leave home!

Conditions

A key /damage deposit of £100 to be paid with rental. This is refunable on return . £200 deposit payable to confirm booking, then remainder payable 8 weeks before arrival date. £75 per week payable for water and electricity during high season. £75 final clean and launder payable. Rates are negoriable depending on length of stay and number inparty. Please e mail for details.

Just what we were looking for...liked it so much my husband wanted to buy the villa ..

Well what can i say? We absolutely loved Moone and had a completely fabulous holiday. The area was perfect for us, very quiet, easy going and laid back.

So all in all, a lovely holiday was had by all. Thank you again for all your help with the travel arrangements etc. We have both said that we would love to return again to Moone next year,
