About the home

The interior is tastefully furnished and decorated, with air-conditioning/heating in the living and sleeping areas. There is an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom. Our apartment benefits from a beautiful shared pool and landscaped gardens. We have a large veranda at the front of our apartment overlooking the pool and sea and a smaller secluded patio area at the back leading from the bedrooms, so you can find both the sun and shade all day.

The property in approximately 2 miles from the village of Esentepe, set back from the coastal road taking you from Kyrenia to Tatilisu. Set in a rural location, with several restaurants and bars within a short drive. There is small supermarket and butchers in Esentepe. Kyrenia is an approximate 20 minute drive along the beautiful coastal road, offering a large variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The lovely ancient harbour area has a variety of restaurants and an ideal location to have a relaxing meal or coffee and watch the world go by.

This is an ideal location to visit the many local attractions Northern Cyprus has to offer.

There area a number of steps around the complex due to its landscaped hillside setting.

Conditions

A 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance plus a £100 breakages deposit is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.

The £100 refundable breakages deposit will be returned with 14 days of vacating the apartment, subject to deductions for losses/damage. Long winter rentals will be considered.

The Kyrenia region

Kyrenia's tiny and charming harbour is full of yachts and fishing boats, framed by the Crusader castle with a backdrop of jagged mountains. It is an easy place to while away the time of day exploring shops, markets and local cafes.

Just a few minutes drives away lies the fairy-tale castle of St Hilarion, rumoured to be the inspiration for Walt Disneys 'sleeping beauty'. St Hilarion was built during the Crusades and offers wonderful views of Kyrenia and wht islands northern coastline. The enchanting village of Ballapais overlooking the town with its ancient abbey offering peace and quiet and offers an ideal starting point for hill-walking, and visit to its 14th century Lusignan abbey is a must.

The Esentepe, Kyrenia / Forest Golf and Beach Resort area

The Korineum Golf and Country Club is an 18 hole pay and play golf course with driving range 10 minutes drive away. www.Korineurgolf.com.

Acapulco Beach Club is approximately 12 mintues drive, and for a small entrance fee you can use the facilities, such as water sports, aqua park, tennis for example. There is also a Casino and evening entertainment.

Turtle Beach is a short drive away, this is a protected area where loggerhead and green turtles lay their eggs. The visitors centre operates from 6pm onwards when you can go turtle watching.

Across the road from your apartment, approximately 10 minutes walk away is the local fishing harbour, where you can fish from the pier or hire a boat for the day.

Fly to Ercan (Northern Cyprus) - Esentepe is 40 minutes (approx) from airport. Cyprus Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, and Turkish Airlines.

Fly to Larnaca (Southern Cyprus) - Esentepe is 60 minutes (approx) from airport.

We recommend : www.birdrentacar.com if you need to hire a car. They can arrange airport transfers, or you could collect your car from Ercan airport, or have it available at the villa.
