The property comprises a spacious 4 bedroom villa with large above ground swimming pool. The villa stands in its own grounds on one of the most attractive spots in the peaceful and unspoilt area of natural countryside known as S'Albufera.
The views from balcony are magnificent looking over the surrounding countryside, which with it's lake has been made a nature reserve and bird sanctuary. The capital Mahon is a 15 mins drive and the beachside village of Es Grau, with restaurants, bars and a few well stocked shops as well as a beach with clear water ideal for swimming, is 10 mins drive.

The Menorca region
Menorca has many lovely beaches and the Island has remained unspoilt. It is essential to have a car when staying at the villa but you then have the freedom to explore the many places of interest on the Island.
Mahon, the capital, has remained unspoilt and under-developed. It is set along the edge of its magnificent natural harbour, which has deep water second only to pearl harbour. Nelson used it during the hundred years that the Island was occupied by the English. There is an abundance of bars, cafes and good restaurants to explore.
Es Grau / S'Albufera area
The villa is situated on S'Albufera National Park, which due to it being an area of outstanding natural beauty and its lake has been made a nature reserve and bird sanctuary. Consequently strict conservation regulations introduced in recent years have meant permission has been witheld for further development, meaning the villas on the estate are widely separated and passing traffic is limited. All this has contributed to the area remaining unspoilt and peaceful, making it ideal for those who enjoy hiking and observing nature, along with being a remarkably safe place for children.
The small unspoilt fishing village of Es Grau is a 10 minute drive. Es Grau benefits from an lovely beach within a sheltered bay, providing shallow clear water allowing safe swimming for small children. With its picturesque cliffs and dunnes there are numerous beautiful walks to be had. There are several restaurants and bars in the village offering a whole variety of traditional spanish food and freshly caught local fish. The Tamarindos Restaurant sits on the waters edge as does Bar Es Molle, both providing great views out over the bay. In additon there is a small, but well stocked, supermarket.
The capital city of Mahon is a 15 mins drive, offering a huge variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. There are numerous cultural activities on offer, including taking a boat trip around the historic harbour, the second deepest in the world, visiting the Gin factory, visiting the vast indoor market, along with discovering the beautiful and historic buildings.
The former capital city of Cuitadella located on the west coast is only a 45 mins drive and is well worthwhile visiting.
Fornells, located on the north coast is only about a 25 mins drive and offers fantastic watersports facilities in its large and sheltered bay, including sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing.
Son Parc, also located on the north coast, is only a 20 mins drive and offers golf and tennis facilities.
Menorca offers something for all the family and its people are very friendly with the much loved 'manana' attitude to life which makes for a very relaxing holiday.
