This luxurious, recently restored villa is situated in the town of historic Es Castell, overlooking the Port of Mahon with spectacular views of the harbour. There is access from the lower ground floor down to a small dock where a boat can be moored, or one can swim from the jetty. It is also an easy stroll down to the fishing port of Calas Fonts to enjoy a drink or meal and one of the many port side restaurants and bars.
The interiors are decorated and furnished to a very high standard and the spacious rooms have high ceilings and marble flooring. On the lower ground floor there is a fitness room with Pilates Reformer and Multi Gym, as well as a snooker room, opening to a terrace with stairs down to the dock. The master bedroom on the first floor opens to a large terrace with hydrotherapy spa, shower room, small wet bar, and views of the port. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Further amenities include plasma screen television, DVD, CD with Bose sound system and internet access.

The Menorca region
The quiet island of Menorca has an attraction as a holiday destination for those looking for peace and relaxation. It offers numerous beaches, sailing, tennis, interesting walks, horse riding, golf and archaeological sites and monuments to visit. There remain a number of Talayotic structures dating from prehistoric times and the palaces and churches of Ciutadella and Mahon are all worth a visit.
Es Castell area
The pretty capital of Mahon lies on the steep, southern shore of a bay offering one of the best natural harbours in the world. With its old city walls, churches and historic mansions, it is a fascinating place to explore. Just two kilometres to the south-east of Mahon is Es Castells with its attractive port lined with colourful Georgian houses. Because of its strategic position as the most easterly town on the island, Es Castells has always played an important part in the history of Menorca.
The best beaches on the island are to be found on the south-east coast of the island, easily accessible from the property, and include Son Bon, Cala Binibeca and Punta Prima.
How to get there
There are now direct flights to Mahon with British Airways from the U.K. as well as flights from many other European countries and other regions of Spain.
It is also possible to travel by ferry from Palma or Barcelona.
