Home description

This fantastic holiday home is literally on the shores of Lough Erne with your own private jetty only 40 metres from the house. The location is excellent, just 10 miles from Enniskillen, a thriving town with all the major stores plus lots more.

Castle Archdale Country Park is adjoining the land on which the home is built and is less than a mile by road. Cycling paths, long walks through mature woodland, a play area and pony trekking are all available. There is a marina. Mini golf is also available nearby.

Excellent restaurants are thriving in the surrounding area and of course there are lots more in nearby towns, Enniskillen, Irvinestown, and Kesh.

The beautiful beaches of Donegal - are a 40 minute car journey away.

The County Fermanagh region

There are many wonderful places to visit in County Fermanagh.

Enniskillen / Lisnarick area

Castle Archdale Country Park is the main attraction to the Lisnarick area. It is a caravan site with many static vans and tourers. There is also a hostel, tearooms and shop. There is a marina and play area. Pony trekking is also available in the summer months.

Castle Archdale is set in 60 acres of mature woodland with lots of paths for cycling and walking. Picnic tables are available throughout. A very popular place especially in the summer.

In nearby Enniskillen there is the Lakeland Leisure Centre with a fitness room and an indoor swimming pool. There is a large play area for younger and older children outside, plus the usual football/rugby pitches.


How to get there

The property is situated approximately 10 miles from Enniskillen on the Enniskillen to Kesh road. We are the left turn after the Cedars restaurant which is on your right.

Coming from Omagh follow for Irvinestown and then Lisnarick. We are approximately 2 miles from Lisnarick. The second road on the right after Castle Archdale Country Park. More detailed directions available on booking.

This house is the height of luxury. The kitchen is handbuilt in pine with a mahogany worktop and integrated appliances. There is a separate dining room as well as a table in the kitchen. The sofas in the living room are cream leather.

There are wooden floors throughout. The bedrooms are spacious with good quality bedlinen. There is a bath and shower in the main bathroom.

Further details outdoors:
There is a deck area to the lake side of the house with an outdoor table. A relaxing area to enjoy the sites and sounds of Lough Erne.

Arrival 4pm Saturday. Departure 10am following Saturday. Deposit in case of damage payable on arrival along with full fee.
