Fermanagh Lodges are located 1½ hours from Belfast or 2 hours from Dublin and are only an hour from the west coast for a day in Sligo or Donegal ; head to the magnificent beaches of Rossnowlagh or Streda where there is an excellent display of easily accessible fossils. Or take a journey through Yeats country with its raised beach landscape, stop at the church where he was buried and enjoy lunch at the Waterside at the end of the glacier lake.
During your stay why not visit the newly opened French Restaurant the Watermill just across the bay from your cottage - take a boat over and enjoy a meal looking over the lake.
No holiday or break is complete without a little retail therapy. The island town of Enniskillen offers many unique family run shops as well as multi national stores and has a wealth of excellent pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, when your legs need a rest from shopping. If you fancy taking in a live show during your stay we recommend that before your visit you check out the programme at Fermanagh's Lakeside Theatre, the Ardhowen, and book tickets in advance as most shows are a sell out and it can be hard to get tickets if you leave this until your stay. There is also a vibrant programme of music and festivals in the county details of which can be found on the Fermanagh District Council web site arts section. Places to visit include 3 National Trust Properties.
Share Holiday Village - All our self catering holiday homes are within ½ a mile of the Share Holiday Village where at Easter and in the summer holidays they offer a day visitor programme of activities with all equipment and instruction. These include Banana skiing, climbing, archery, go carting, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, pottery and film production. These can be booked on a daily basis during your stay.

Florence Court - 16 miles. One of the most interesting and important houses in Ulster, built in mid-eighteenth century by John Cole. The house has magnificent plaster work and its striking rococo dining-room ceiling was fortunately saved from fire in 1955. The rest of the plaster work has been meticulously restored. The grounds provide an excellent picnic site or a place to just sit and admire the views.
Marble Arch Caves - 20 miles. These magnificent Mesozoic limestone caves have an extensive network of caverns, and may be viewed from a boat. Well worth the visit. Booking advisable.
