"Special house - entire family had a wonderful time."

This house is presented in such a way that it makes your holiday feel special but not so you are not able to relax and enjoy yourself. A delightful location for a laid back break. Well equipped with all mod cons. There is plenty to do within short car ride but the house is so nice you might not stray too far. Grandparents, parents and kids all loved it and we will definitely be back!

"absolutely fabulous"

we decided to look for a short at home holiday this year as our teenage children have so many demands on their time that parents do not top their list of priorities the fishermans cottage exceeded every expectation we had It really does do what it says on the tin and so much more the interior furnishings bedrooms and bathrooms are supremely furnished and the ultimate in comfort and style every time we thought we needed something we opened a drawer and found it from utensils ,equipment ,wi fi ,books games dvds and so on it is all there and in such good taste as well we even managed to fit in a game of swingball while enjoying a nice chilled bottle of prosecco on the patio from the moment we arrived to see the welcome bottle of wine and chocolate which was quickly consumed we were totally at home This is far from an average holiday let property I did wonder why there were not more reviews on such a fantastic property i now realise why .As when you stay there once you want to return again and again and you want to keep his haven of luxury and tranquility to yourself so that it does not become too popular As we have already booked again for november i think it is only fair we are not selfish and spread the word about this property Just to add a few points for reference The golf was amazing for our two teenage boys The girls enjoyed pony trekking and the pool in the hotel There is an information book bursting with ideas for things to do but our biggest pleasure was enjoying the beautiful surroundings we were staying in and we were able to enjoy a most relaxed family holiday As you might have gathered by this review we can not reccomend this highly enough

"Luxury on the Lough"

Planning a 7 night holiday for 4 adults and 4 children under 5 was always going to be a bit of a bother, but when I stumbled upon 5 Fisherman's Cottage a stumbled upon a Gem. My best friend was coming to visit me from Australia with her husband and 2 small children so we didn't want the restrictions of a hotel but we wanted the luxury. I also had my husband and 2 small children so finding something that could accommodate us was always going to be tough. The 5 Fisherman's Cottage web page was easy to navigate and to be honest I thought the pictures were too good to be true. Boy was I wrong. We arrived on the Saturday and we were all blown away with this lodge. What you see is what you get. A little bit of French luxury tucked away in the south west of Northern Ireland with views of the lough that quiet honestly are breath taking. everything was spotless and comfortable, there was enough utensils and equipment in the kitchen to make it a real home from home. We went from breakfasts on the patio to after dinner drinks in front of the fire simply perfect. There is plenty to do for all ages in the area and the kitchen has a great folder with names and numbers of places of interest. With having 4 small children a washing machine was fantastic, we brought some toys with us but there are some toys tucked away which is fantastic, along with an extensive dvd collection and children's books, they really did want for anything. Baby gates at top and bottom of stairs was also great for piece of mind. I can honestly say I have never had such a relaxing holiday and it was Perfect to share with my friends from Australia who just loved it. Thankyou you so much for letting us share your beautiful home we would recommend in a heart beat and look forward to staying again.

"Amazing House in a Dream Location"

We have stayed at this property a number of times and have always had a great holiday. The house is always very clean, fabulously decorated and has great views overlooking the lough. You have the Nick Faldo golf course on your doorstep and the 5* Lough Erne golf hotel complete with spa facilities. We have a young family so the kids toys that are left there are a real bonus. My advice stay there and have a great holiday!!!

"Stunning Holiday Home in the Luxurious 5* Lough Erne Resort"

We chose Lough Erne resort for a family weekend away from London with our children (3 year old girl and 15 month boy) and our au pair as it offered everything that we were looking for in one place. We ended up having the most amazing weekend away to date as a family. 5 Fisherman’s Cottages is absolutely stunning and luxurious. The photos on the internet are exactly what you walk into and the house just takes your breath away. In fact, you won't want to leave this house! No expense has been spared but at the same time it is 100% child friendly. The house is in a fantastic location and there is so much to do in the resort (and nearby) as a family. We enjoyed some beautiful walks, went for some spa treatments, and had fun in the play areas; the kids especially enjoyed milking cows and a trip to Enniskillen Castle. My husband and I enjoyed a couple of romantic evenings out while the kids were at home with our au pair enjoying all of the amazing kid stuff, DVDs, books, toys etc. It is hard to say which are the best bits, but the cosy log fire, the amazing lake views, the luxurious Master bedroom, the sumptuous interiors, the fab kitchen, the child friendly activities and the pure relaxation all feature in our Top 10 list. This house and the resort are simply fantastic and a must go destination for a relaxing family getaway.
