"Extremely disappointing"

We arrived as a party of 5 adults (including 80 & 82yr old parents) and one child, with another adult to follow. We were met by the caretaker of the property and given a very brisk 5min (if that even)… More

I got a phone call from this holidaymaker informing me that they would be arriving at 4.30pm. At 6pm I got a second call informing me that it would be around 6.30pm. At 6.30pm I was sitting outside the house in my car and at 6.45pm they arrived. I said to the holidaymaker that I was just going to ring to see how near they were and in reply I got “well, we're here now” and it wasn't in a very nice way.
I let them into the house and walked them all through the house, showing them were the heaters, bathrooms, hot water, etc was. I'd left tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk as I do in all of my houses.
The house has ample utensils for any holidaymaker. However this holidaymaker was short knives and so I brought in more for her. I also brought pegs and anything else she wanted was given to her. There is a full shelf of drinking glasses, 2 casserole dishes and a set of pots and pans. There is a log fire in the sitting room and there is a heater in every room. Towels are left for each person, hand towels in bathrooms. There are tea towels, a dish cloth, pan scrubber and dishwasher tablets in the kitchen.
One of the bathrooms had been tampered with, and when the maintenance man asked the holidaymaker about this she just turned and walked away.
As for me needing to go on a course, well, I've done this job for over 16 years and plenty of people come back year after year. I was not rude and did not shout from the street to anyone, nor would I.(I'm 68 years old and I think shouting from the street is past me long ago.)
I do have to say that the lady her self was rude to both myself and the cleaner. When I brought in the extra stuff for her she didn't speak to me, she just pointed at the work top and then walked out of the room. She spoke down to the cleaner and told her in a not very nice way what she needed to get done. The cleaner was upset with the way she was treated.
