Enniscorthy

This charming barn conversion is located on the grounds of the owner's 18th century Georgian home on a working stud farm just six miles from Kiltealy and ten miles outside Enniscorthy. It has been lovingly restored and transformed into a delightful cottage offering snug and cosy living with a wood burning stove. This is the perfect base from which to tour the historic town of Kilkenny, take the train to Dublin city for the day or explore the coastline of wexford with its numerous sandy beaches and fine golf courses.

This courtyard cottage is part of a complex of farm buildings and on the same grounds as the owner's 18th century Georgian home which has been home to the same family since 1769. A wood burning stove rolls back the years. On the farm you will see horses grazing in the fields alongside sheep and Kerry cows. At various times of the year foals, calves, and lambs romp in the meadows. This is a working stud farm and you will be able to experience the rhythm of agriculture at first hand during your stay. Added attractions for children are the pot-bellied pig, hens and chicks and other small animals housed in the courtyard.
