Dragonflies, our Exquisite 3 Bed Luxury Villa with private solar/electric heated pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Built on a large plot by one of Englewood's premier builders you will find a high quality home set in beautifully landscaped gardens offering peace and privacy. This beautiful home has been furnished and decorated to a luxurious level by an interior decorator and is maintained to the highest standard.

Our spacious villa comprises of 3 large Bedrooms (Master with en-suite), 2 further bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge, separate formal dining room, fully equipped kitchen, morning room, laundry room, garage, front porch area, lanai and solar/electric heated swimming pool, pool cage.

Further details outdoors:
The extended pool is south-west facing, ideal for sunbathing and for enjoying the spectacular sunsets. Solar& electric heat ensure comfortable swimming all year round. The large lanai catches the sun all day yet there is still plenty of shade to cool off. There are four loungers to relax and sunbathe. The pool and lanai area are fully enclosed within a mesh cage for your comfort. We also have a variable speed fan on the lanai.

You can dine alfresco out on the lanai at the large patio table with seating for six. Cook steaks & burgers to perfection on the gas BBQ.

The front porch has a sitting area with table & chairs for morning coffee - sit and watch the sun come up or drink your coffee out in the morning sun.

The large back garden affords plenty of privacy when lounging around the pool and looks out onto greenbelt land. Sit and watch the wildlife go by ( armadillos, racoons, gopher turtles and the occasional bob cat). Birdspotters can observe woodpeckers, vulctures, ospreys owls .. to name but a few!

Our home is an ideal base for a fantastic holiday whatever you choose to do : Golfing, Boating, Fishing, Sight seeing, Shopping, Sunbathing, Beach Combing - its all there.

Dragonflies Villa is equipped with everything you could possibly want for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Just bring your suitcase!

Englewood is a small, easy-going beachfront community along the Gulf of Mexico situated between Sarasota and Fort Myers.It is said to be one of "Florida’s best-kept secrets". Englewood has four pristine beaches, all which border the Gulf of Mexico. Here you can spend time swimming, searching for seashells, sunbathing, boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling or hiking along the ocean’s edge.

The area has the best of both worlds. The quiet laid back charm that we associate with "Old Florida" is evident all around and yet the hustle & bustle of Orlando is within easy reach.

Attractions and distances:
Beaches 10 mins, Golf Courses 2 mins, Port Charlotte 15mins, Tampa / Busch Gardens 1.5 hours, Fort Myers 1 hour, Sarasota 45mins, Ellenton Outlet Malls 45mins, The Everglades 1.5hrs, Miami 3hours, Orlando 3 hours.

The Englewood / Rotonda area

Rotonda West is a mixture of residential and holiday homes set among fresh water canals, golf courses and greenbelt land. A short drive will take you to the pristine, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

We are in a nature conservation area. The Rotonda has its own Nature Reserve and Community Park. There you will find children's playgrounds, BBQ areas, tennis courts, open playing fields and nature trails. There is an abundance of wildlife. Look out for Gopher Turtles, Armadillos, Raccoons, Bob Cats and numerous birds.

We are only 5 mins drive from 2 large supermarkets with a greater selection of shops and department stores in nearby Englewood. Port Charlotte is a 10min drive. There you will find shopping malls (Dillards, JCPenny etc,)also a multi screen cinema, bowling, steak bars.

The area is serviced by a good selection of places to eat ... ranging from good value basic eateries to high class restaurants. The choice is yours!
