About the home

Our spacious luxury villa is located in the plush and tranquil setting of Rotonda West on Florida’s magnificent Gulf Coast. Completed in July 2004, our 4 / 5 bedrooms, 4 bathroom home has 2 Master en-suite bedrooms and has been professionally furnished and decorated to the highest standard, and is situated in a large, secluded, landscaped garden. Enjoy the peace and privacy of this luxurious home, just a few minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Relax in the living room area in air-conditioned comfort, or chill-out around your own private pool on those sizzling summer days, with a glass of wine.

For those lazy days at home, this villa is equipped with 3 TV’s and a DVD player (USA). Please let us know if you require High Chairs for small children or a baby cot.

Casual dining for those informal occasions is situated next to the kitchen, with sliding door access to the Lanai / patio area, pool and Jacuzzi. Alternatively you can entertain in style in the more formal dining room that comfortably seats 10.

The beautiful community and landscaping of Rotonda are protected by virtue of being a Deed Restricted Community, with its wide elegant palm tree lined boulevards, is set amongst thirty (30) square miles of natural habitat punctuated with lakes and canals.

Rotonda also now boasts five (5) challenging golf courses within its boundaries and at least the same number again within a twenty (20) minute driving radius. Tennis courts are available in the community area at the centre of Rotonda Circle, and there is an abundance of fishing and boating not only at Rotonda but also at world famous sports fishing grounds, including marlin off Boca Grande Island, which is only a six (6) mile, drive to the south.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region

White sandy beaches on the Gulf Coast at Englewood are only 15 minutes drive and there are at least 5 golf courses within the boundaries of Rotonda, and another 5 within a 20-minute drive.

This part of Florida is an ideal base for day trips to explore the many local attractions. The ‘Everglades’ and Islands are just 2 hours drive to the south. Tampa Bay with Busch Gardens is 90 minutes drive to the north and we think this is one of the best theme parks for families. Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World in Central Florida, only 2.5 hours drive away.

There is an abundance of fishing and boating not only at Rotonda but also at world famous sports fishing grounds, such as deep-sea fishing for Marlin off Boca Grande island which is only a six mile drive to the south, so why not take the opportunity to charter a sailing boat with a skipper? just ask us for details.

Tennis courts are available in the community area at the centre of Rotonda Circle, and there are several other clubs where you can play with a 30-minute drive.

Water sports are available in abundance including parasailing and ‘waverunners’ (jet-skis), windsurfing and scuba diving off of this beautiful coast.

Myakka Nature Reserve is less than 1 hour away, and local wildlife includes such birds as Osprey, Heron, Pelicans, Ibis, Egrets, also Raccoons, Armadillos, Turtles, Dolphins and Alligators - you won't have to go far before catching sight of at least one of these.

The Englewood / Rotonda area

The house is on Rotonda West circle and is located on the Cape Haze Peninsula in Charlotte County in the south Gulf Coast of Florida. The Cape Haze Peninsula is approximately 1.5 hours south of Tampa, between the cities of Sarasota (45 minutes) and Punta Gorda. Orlando is approximately 2.5 hours away and guests may choose to take a day trip, or two to Disneyland before returning home to the tranquillity of this beautiful house. The villa is just 10 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
