The accommodation consists of 2 separate 2 bedroomed units within this luxury detached villa and is ideal for families and couples sharing. Each unit has it's own lounge and kitchen, and spacious private terraces. There are stairs leading up to the first floor on the outside of the house, and a spiral staircase leads up from the pool area to the first floor terrace. Please note there is no internal staircase.

The villa has a superb south facing swimming pool and spacious terraces. There are plenty of sun beds and outdoor furniture, and a luxury BBQ suitable for 11 people.

It overlooks the long safe sandy beach and is just a few minutes walk to shops restaurants and the Marina.

The pool is for the exclusive use of the guests.

Empuriabrava is still a typical Spanish resort with 2 long sandy beaches, a Marina, and a variety of restaurants in all price ranges. It is a family resort with no 'English Pubs' or 'lager louts' providing a super location for a holiday with lots of places to go and things to do for families and couples. It is not suitable for groups looking for Nightclubs etc.

Moorings for your boat or jet ski are available to rent on a short term basis in the Marina just a few minutes walk away.

Facilities

The villa is extremely well equipped, the ground floor and first floor have a separate lounge area and kitchen each. The first floor lounge has a double bed settee in the lounge area. Each floor has a seating area with TV with Sky freeview package. Hifi, dining area with table & chairs, ceiling fan & french doors leading out to the terraces.

The ground floor doors lead out onto a spacious terrace with covered area, and a private pool (8m X 4m), outside dining table, chairs, sun beds & BBQ. The first floor terrace has a spiral staircase leading down to the ground floor pool area.

Both of the kitchens are well equipped with Microwave, Hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and all of the utensils and crockery you could need. The ground floor kitchen also has a dishwasher and full size oven. There is an additional fridge freezer in the hallway, and washing machine in both of the bathrooms.

The ground floor bathroom has a large walk in shower, hand basin & unit, toilet, the first floor has a small bath with shower over, sink unit, & toilet.

Each floor has 2 bedrooms, on the ground floor there is a double and room with full size bunk beds plus a single bed, on the 1st floor there is another double and a twin. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. There is a double bed settee in the lounge of the first floor.

A baby / toddler package including travel cot, high chair, baby bath, bouncing cradle, sterilising unit, changing mat, toddler toys, toddler bed guard, potty, baby listening device, etc is available for a small additional charge.

The villa is ideal for 2 families or sets of couple wishing to holiday together but still offering privacy.

Further details outdoors:
The newly built swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the guests of the villa. Once up the few steps leading to the front door, the ground floor of the house, terrace and pool can be accessed with any further steps.

There are spacious terraces which are south facing and receive the sun from morning until early evening, a sun umbrella is provided for shade in addition to the covered area of the terrace.

The beach is just 50 metres from the end of the garden, and the shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

The Catalunya area offers many attractions including many areas of protected land for bird watching, walking, mountain biking etc. Places of interest include the Dali Museum in Figueres, the home of Dali & Cadaques a picturesque white washed village, Roman ruins, Boat trips, Boat charter, fishing trips, trips to Barcelona, France is only 50 minutes drive away, plus many other interesting ideas can be found on our website.

The Empuriabrava area

Empuriabrava has Europe's largest waterways system, many of the houses have moorings in their back garden which lead out to the Mediterranean via a series of canals. You can hire a small boat in the marina and explore the canals for an hour or two.

There are 2 long sandy beaches which never get too crowded and have water sports, beach bars etc. Saturday morning is Market Day in Empuriabrava (Sunday in L'Escala & Roses). There are many attractions in and around Empuriabrava including Sky diving, Water park, Sea diving in one of the many fish reserves, glass bottom boat trips, boat charter, fishing trips, go karts, Butterfly park, Bird Sanctuary etc.

There is protected land on either side of the resort which has traffic free paths for walking and cycling.

Cheap Flights available from the majority of UK, Dublin & European airports with www.ryanair.com

Girona airport is the nearest and most convenient just 40 minutes drive.

Perpignon is the next nearest airport approx 1 hours drive and is also served by low cost airlines.

Barcelona airport is approx 2 hours drive, www.easyjet.com for cheap flights.

Empuriabrava is 12 hours driving time from Calais (750 miles), slightly less from Caen, Le Havre, Cherbourg etc. The nearest ferry port of Bilbao is just 440 miles away.

Eurostar from London to Paris, 2 metro stops then new fast train line from Paris to Figueres just 20 minutes drive away.

All of the airports have Car Hire companies including Hertz, Europcar, etc.
