The Maritimes region
Nova Scotia is located on the east coast of Canada, just two hours flying time from the United States and 5.5 hours from London. With 7,400 km of coastline it is almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and is truly unlike anything you've ever experienced.
Renowned for the highest tides in the world at the Bay of Fundy, award-winning vineyards scattered about the province, nationally recognized chefs at the helm of Nova Scotia restaurants and over 700 festivals annually, Nova Scotia is a place of remarkable natural beauty and thriving culture.
More than this, Nova Scotia is a place that offers a rare experience to the people who live in, do business in, and come to visit the province.

Sights & Sounds of Windsor (and within a 15 minute radius) are all within reach
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, there are sights, sounds, & activities for everyone! Here are just a few to consider when planning your trip here...
Interested in walking/running trails, Adventure Park, & enjoying the outdoors...
Experience the 2.2 km trail around Lake Pisiquid (mostly paved trail with a small gravel section). Flowers, plants & trees add beauty to the sights of the lake. (Wheelchair & scooter accessible). This trail gets plowed in the winter so is accessible for walking/running all year!
The trail around the National Historic Site of Fort Edward is 1 km long with plenty of trees, flowers and moderate hills (trail is gravel/dirt and wheelchair/scooter accessible).
Haliburton House / River trail is 1.35 km and consists of gravel/dirt and some large stairs. Only the trail up behind Haliburton House is wheelchair/scooter accessible.
Tree Fun & Adventure Park – 370 Martock Road (10 minutes outside Windsor). In cooperation with Ski Martock, OnTree has built one of the most challenging climbing parks in NS. It has 10 high-rope courses and 16 zip lines. There are physical and mental challenges for all age groups (including a specially designed course for children). Check out OnTree Park for info or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org .
sunflower mazeDakeyne Farm Sunflower Maze Get lost in a field of sunflowers. The flowers are beautiful, yellow & bright, and reaching for the sky. It won't be long before they start to lower their heads, start to brown and become full with seed. Join them at the Dakeyne Farm from approx. mid-August to mid-September for a walk through of their Sunflower Maze. They are open every day (during this peak season) from 10-7, unless it's raining. This year they created a little picnic park near the top of the maze, with shade, tables, games for the lil'uns, and a beautiful view of our tidal river. So pack a lunch, grab your camera and enjoy your day with them. Their Sunflower maze will be open until the last petal falls. They will then close for a few weeks so they can harvest their yield and prepare for Nova Scotia's First Haunted Sunflower Maze!
