"Windy But Worth It!"

Just returned from a very chilled out time at this lovely cottage over the New Year with family and friends. Beautiful decor and furnishings with loving detail at every turn. Kids loved the upstairs c… More

Thank you for your review - we're glad you enjoyed your stay!

We were abroad over Christmas and New Year so we're not aware if the winds during your stay were partucularly bad - we've not had any other guests mention wind noise. The trade-off for the sea views is that the house is exposed to the elements - including the wind - so unfortunately there isn't much we can do about it. The slate roof is insulated with 150mm of kingspan insulation to keep it cosy and this should also reduce any noise as much as possible.

We are planning a pulley in the utility area which will cover the clothes drying in the winter months when the lines in the garden and summer house aren't much use!

We will take on board your comments regarding the place mats. There was a sieve so we will also check if that needs replaced!

Thanks again for your feedback!

"Comfortable with all mod-cons.... and more"

We had a great time at the millie. Ruth was very obliging, putting in stair gates for our small child which was great. The cottage is beautifully furnished and set out. Bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything that you might need.

Comforts abound and the tv in the bathroom was a hit with everyone - children included. The sauna was a treat after runs along the beach and the garden is great for the children to run about in.

We had a great time and look forward to going back.
