About the home

Welcome to this stunning, new build luxury 3 bedroom villa with a private south facing pool situated on the Polaris World's exclusive flagship Nicklaus Golf Resort in Murcia. The villa is furnished to an extremely high standard and has 3 good sized bedrooms. In the luxurious master bedroom suite you have the option of 2 single beds or an impressive Super Queen Size bed. Patio doors lead onto the private pool area, large fitted wardrobes, en suite facilities including a relaxing jacuzzi bath, shower, bidet, wc and twin wash basins. The second bathroom boasts a fully tiled double walk-in shower. Both twin bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets.

The villa is air conditioned and central heated throughout.

The well equipped fitted kitchen comprises of cooker, hob, microwave, large American style fridge freezer with cold water and ice dispenser, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher and all crockery and cutlery, everything to meet all your self catering needs. A door leads out into the utility room which houses a sink and washer/dryer.

The lounge is spacious with its high vaulted wooden beamed ceilings and marble floors throughout , large 42" television with Satelite tv, DVD player with selection of DVDs, x box and games, ipod docking station, leather corner suite which converts to a double sofa bed, two leather tub chairs. In the dining area you will find a modern dining suite & leather chairs seating 6 people comfortably, all crockery and tableware is provided.

French doors lead onto the south facing private pool and sunbathing area, there is an external shower and 8 sun loungers. Covered pergola with table, seating for 6 for those who like to dine alfresco. There is a covered lounge area with easy chairs and table with a built in BBQ, fitted fans for those scorching days. The villa is south facing for all year round sunshine.

There is a children's play area and gardens to the front of the villa.

Off-road parking for 3 cars.

Polaris World recognises the importance of security. As a result, a security service operates 24 hours a day with CCTV cameras and control of access to the El Valle resort.

The property is not frontline, so you can enjoy your privacy. No dodging golf balls in the pool or being woken up by early morning tee offs.

This villa has been finished to a very high standard offering the ultimate in 5 Star holiday accommodation.

The Murcia region

The weather in Murcia is very mild (and well known for it), making it an ideal destination for holiday makers in both the summer and the winter months. Murcia enjoys more than 2,800 hours of sunshine each year with an average annual temperature of 19.3 degrees Celsius.

Murcia has become a popular tourist destination for sun lovers enjoying approximately 325 sunny days each year and the humidity is very low. Here you will find the best and healthiest climate of Spain. Recently the World Healths Organization (WHO) described Murcia's climate as being one of the best in the world. Murcia's summers are hot and the winters are mild with many clear blue sunny days

The Murcia region is one of Spain's & Europe's best kept secrets. An unspoilt area with 250km of beaches along the shores of two seas: the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor.

The MAR MENOR (small sea): is15 minutes from El Valle, the Mar Menor is a 130 square km inland lagoon which is contained by a narrow strip of land which separates it from the Mediterranean Sea. It's warm, shallow water and soft sandy beaches with many children’s play areas on the sand, make it an ideal place for all the family.

15 minute drive to Los Alcazares beach on the Mar Menor. Mar Menor is an inland sea which means the water is always warmer than the Med. Water sports enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with canoeing, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, swimming, surfing, windsurfing and every other type of nautical activity you can imagine.

Parque Natural el Valle - A steep wooded mountain, with fantastic views over Murcia and the valley, rising to about 2000 feet in the Carrascoy Mountain Range, an ideal spot to drive and walk. Near the top is the Sanctuario de la Fuensanta, a church, where you might even see a typical Spanish wedding, with a restaurant/bar, where can look out over the whole valley. Marked routes for walking and hiking, picnic areas, campsite and lodges. There are archaeological sites from the bronze age, roman, moorish and spanish eras, including the ruins of a small castle to explore.


15 minute drive to Murcia City Centre, which is a beautiful historic city with an elaborately built cathedral and stunning architecture. There are many squares to explore with quaint Spanish cafe's, perfect for relaxing in typical Spanish surroundings. Murcia City, the capital of the Murcia region since the 1300s and first developed by the Moors in the 9th century, contains a host of delights from dramatic architecture to a choice of Museums. The Rio Segura river runs through the city centre, and just north of the river sits Murcia's old town and central cathedral. Dating from the 14th century, Murcia's cathedral has been added to and changed over the centuries. Originally Gothic, in the mid 1700s baroque facades were added. The west front was destroyed in a flood in 1735 hence the rebuilding. Its location is on the site of a mosque, and a more lavish and clear message of religious fervour and conquest you're unlikely to find, although Malaga's cathedral comes close. The interior is equally lavish and retains much of its Gothic origins. The Capilla de los Velez funeral chapel finished in 1507 draws particular attention. Entrance is free and the Cathedral's nearby large Plaza del Cardenal Belluga is lined with cafe bars.

20 minute drive to Murcia Waterpark, Aqua Natura, which is part of the zoo Terra Natura. Aqua Natura Murcia is a fabulous water park covering a total area of 30,000 m2. It is known as Zanzibar and aims to recreate the Indian Ocean island of the same name.

The water park has two swimming pools : Prison Island – for adults and accompanied children, with a water tower, an oscillating water drum and relaxing water jets for the whole family to enjoy. Grave Island – a splash pool for children, featuring water games and smaller water chutes. Other attractions include the Lazy River where visitors can set off on a single or double float and take the journey down the lazy river.

Children's Zone – in addition to the separate children’s pool, there are three play areas – the Titanic which is a bouncy castle for young children, the Dinosaur which is a bouncy castle in the form of a prehistoric animal and Jumpy which is an area of trampolines with harness support for children.

Water Chutes – there are several water chutes to be used with or without floats. The Black Hole with its strobe lighting effect, the Adventure River or the Kamikaze and the Speed Hole, both of which are high speed chutes. There is also a gentle multi lane chute with four parallel lanes so you can enjoy competing with friends!

There is a Jetty Bar at the water park where you can enjoy snacks and sandwiches. There are also a number of kiosks/bars around the water park where you can buy soft drinks, slush puppies, ice creams etc.

The water park is open throughout the main season but closes during the winter months. During September the park is only open at weekends.

20 minute drive to Nueva Condomina shopping mall which is a new complex with some 200 shops, including many U.K high street chains that you will be familiar with. It also provides a huge range of restaurants and cafe's, 10 pin bowling and a 6 screen cinema.

15 minute drive to Dos Mares shopping area which includes a large supermaket, bowling alley, restaurants, food outlets and shops to suit all tastes.

Visit Cartagena, a Spanish Mediterranean city and naval station in the southeast and see the breath taking sites of a beautiful walled town which has a fine harbour defended by forts. Declared the province of Murcia to have the cleanest air in Europe.

GOLF

The course is a medium par 71 course, situated in a beautiful natural desert valley. The course has grouped holes to offer a more open and natural golf experience, and offers subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers.

El Valle features clusters of small, subtly shaped bunkers and takes full advantage of its desert setting with numerous holes playing adjacent to naturally existing rock-outcroppings and ridges. The course is complemented with a number of water features, including two lakes and two elaborate stream and waterfall systems

The villa was excellent and far exceeded our expectations, I don't think the description does it justice. We took our young son and were kindly provided with a highchair and cot, free of charge and it was a real bonus to discover we had Cbeebies! If you are looking for somewhere to relax then this is an ideal place, with all the comforts of home. Kirsty and family.
