Home description
Ideal for families or golfing and sports holidays, this luxury villa is located on 'EL Valle' one of Polaris World's prestigious golf resorts. With a quiet atmosphere and unique rugged rural backdrop, it is situated just a short drive from the local beach as well as the cosmopolitan attractions of Murcia city.
The resort has a brand new clubhouse (opened on the 24th May 2008). The clubhouse is about a 10 minute walk from the villa and will soon have the Asador El Valle (a charcoal grill barbecue restaurant), Sandalo chill out bar, pro golf shop, Clover Pub, supermarket and 24hr cash point.
The property also benefits from many convenient facilities including a large plasma TV (satellite), DVD, CD player, dishwasher, microwave and air conditioning in every room. It also have has a new privacy screen at the back of the property for sunbathing and relaxed dining. Internet access is also available from the front bedroom also.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The local area offers plenty of sandy beaches and is ideal for watersports enthusiasts. Local sports include fishing, sailing, windsurfing and swimming. Other activities included cycling and horse riding. Mar Menor's beach is also ideal for families as the water is calm, warm and shallow. Walking and cycling is also popular along the beach promenade.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, Murcia is a wonderful region to visit all year round. The region of Murcia has the typical Mediterranean semi-arid subtropical climate: namely an average annual temperature of 18ºC, with hot summers (registering absolute maximum temperatures of 40ºC) and mild winters (an average temperature of 11ºC in the winter months of December and January).
The property is only 25 minutes' drive from the beach, restaurant and bars at Los Alcazares and 40 minutes' drive from La Manga Strip, approx. 50 minutes' drive to Terra Mitica Theme Park in Benidorm and many other waterparks in the Alicante area including Aqualandia.
Torrevieja Aquopolis (waterpark open between 8 June to 31 August) is within a 30 minutes drive.
Guests have access to the resort's 18-hole par 68 golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There are many other courses in the area including La Torre, Mar Menor, Mosa Trajectum, Torre Pacheco, La Finca and Las Ramblas. La Manga Golf Resort is also approx. 20 minutes' drive.
Murcia City, which offers fantastic nightlife, shopping and restaurants is only 25 minutes drive from the property, 25 minutes' drive from Mar Menor/Los Alcazares (beach) which also offers many tapas bars, restaurants, shops, banks and supermarkets, approx. 2 hours' drive to Granada and the Alhambra Palace and approx. 3.5 hours' drive to Madrid. The historic port city of Cartegena is only a 40 minute drive and offers wonderful shopping and dining opportunities as well as historic sites.
If you would like to visit Alicante, well know for it's popular water and theme parks, the journey will take you around 40 minutes.
A local shopping complex called 'Dos Mares' with an enormous supermarket, many restaurants and a cinema is approx. 20 minute drive away.
El Valle Golf Resort / Polaris World, El Valle area
Polaris World’s El Valle Golf Resort is a self-contained 'gated' resort with Mediterranean-style, whitewashed villas and apartments built around an 18-hole golf course with a golf club house and bar, communal swimming pools, tree-lined avenues, children’s play areas and landscaped gardens. Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure.
£100 non refundable deposit, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. No groups under 21 are allowed. The pool can be heated for an additional charge of £50 per week.
In addition, a separate £150 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.
