The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The province of Murcia Costa Calida (also known as the warm coast) enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year with numerous white sandy beaches and warm shallow water.
It is situated in the province of Murcia and is approximately 155 miles in length and adjoins two different seas. The Mar Menor or (small sea) and the Mediterranean sea, making The Mar Menor, Europe's largest salt water lagoon, with over 170 square kilometres of shallow water surrounded by the districts of Los Urrutias, El Carmolí, San Javier, Los Alcazares and La Manga to name just a few.
Adjacent to the Mar Menor are natural salt lakes where people come daily to apply the mud from the bed of the lakes to their bodies, then cross the road and wash it off in the Mar Menor.
The Spanish firmly believe that this process relieves aches and pains and is especially popular with those who suffer from arthritis and muscular problems. This theory is supported by many doctors and medical experts in Spain and indeed across Europe.
Los Alcazares is one of the closest seaside towns and is well worth a visit, with its pretty marina and promenade.It also boasts a beautiful beach for the children to play, with numerous water sports to enjoy, or you can just relax in one of the many cafes along the front with a cool beverage, watching the world go by.
SHOPPING The cities of Murcia & Cartegena both offer excellent shopping facilities. El Court Ingles is approx 25 mins away from El Valle by car and is sign posted off the A7 close by to Los Alcazares. Dos Mares shopping mall is also just a 20 minute drive away in San Javier.
Murcia is the nearest city, only 15 minutes away with theatres, museums, art galleries, exhibitions, bars and restaurants.

Nueva Condomina shopping mall is huge and is located off the A7, just 20 minutes drive from El Valle. In this new shopping complex you will find ...Ikea, fashion, sports shops and one of the largest IT retailers (Saturn) in Spain.

How to get there
El Valle is easily accessible from Murcia/San Javier airport on the C3319 heading towards Murcia. In fact travel time from airport to our apartment can be comfortably done in 15 mins. From Alicante I would expect travel time to be approx 50 mins depending on arrival time at airport.

Further details indoors: In the kitchen you will find top of the range appliances including integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, ceramic hob with electric oven, microwave toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils. Both bedrooms have been tastefully designed in order to set a relaxing and comfortable ambience. Both rooms have fitted wardrobes and air con is provided. A safe for valuables can be found in bedroom one.
The bathroom has a hydro massage bath and over head shower, illuminated mirror, wash hand basin inset in marble, with under cupboard storage, w.c. and bidet.
Further details outdoors: A large balcony containing 'superior' furnishing consists of a dining table and 4 chairs allowing for that 'El Fresco' dining experience. There is also a comfortable 'lounge set' where you can relax and enjoy the stunning mountain scenery.

BOND A £200 bond (against breakages) is required, in addition and becomes payable at the time of settling your final balance. This will be returned by the owner within 7 Days of your departure, once the local agent has inspected and confirmed that all is in order.
BOOKING DEPOSIT A £100 deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure your dates. The balance becomes payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival to the owner. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival to be paid in full at the time of booking.
